The best fit for curvier body type
I have leggings in every material that prana makes, and heavana is my favorite! So buttery soft and light! They really move with me and don't sag or slip down. I have a 28 in waist and 40 inch hips and bought size Small. I'm a mountain biker with thicker legs and need more stretch in the legs and booty. The chakaras and Luxaras aren't as forgiveable as these are, and they are my go-to choice. I have a medium in chakaras and becksa but the waist gapes a bit while fitting elsewhere. I have a small in the Luxara but they dig in to my tummy. The heavana are perfect!
So soft, comfy and versatile
I’m 5’3” 155lbs curvy/athletic build and bought these in a M. I love these so much. I have an older pair of prana biker shorts with pockets…I think they were the becksa shorts, same length and they kinda cut into my thicker/muscled thighs, and these did too slightly on the first wear, but they have sorta “stretched out” and don’t do that anymore after their first wash, and when I say “stretched out” I think they just softened up a bit, because they don’t fit looser or poorer than before. I’m usually between a S and M in prana leggings depending on the style/fit I’m going for, and these are what I would call a relaxed fit they hug my curves nicely without feeling overly compressive and they’re thick enough that they pass the squat test. I’m absolutely obsessed with how soft they are and after a few washes (never put in the dryer) they’ve held up really well - I’ve been buying prana religiously for over 10 years and these shorts (and the leggings from the same line) are by far some of my favorites - I was sad to see the becksa line go, but I think I like these even better! I mostly do barre, yoga and weight lifting in them and they work well for all three. Also cute to wear as athleisure wear. And the Carob color is honestly to die for, sooo cute! I think I’ll try the shorter biker shorts next!
Double check the size chart
Loved these but have to exchange for a larger size. I have an older pair of Prana bike shorts and they are a medium and fit me great, but these are much smaller. Although technically, had I looked at the size chart waist measurement I would have been a large, I just thought I could base it on my normal size and the other pair I already owned. My fault.
Very nice work out shorts, but just too short for me.
These workout shorts are quite nice… beautiful heather green color, soft material and nice fit. Unfortunately, they are just a little too short in the legs for this senior’s liking, so they are being returned. I definitely would have kept them if they were a little closer to knee length.
Comfy for summer
These shorts are comfy. I returned these though as I bought them to match with a new top and then didn’t like the top so both went back. I still have a black pair though and like them for barre and yoga in the summer.
So soft!
Soft and flattering! I don't feel like my legs usually look good in "legging shorts" but somehow I can pull these off. Look great paired with crop tops. I ended up ordering extra colors.
great shorts
Comfy, great length, love the color and fabric. They are tight enough to stay in place but not so tight that they are uncomfortable to wear for longer periods of time.
The best shorts!
These are my favorite bike shorts from any athletic brand hands down. I wish I had more money in my bank account to buy more. Fits great and material feels amazing.
great for many activities
super soft but compressive enough to run in. I've worn for yoga, lifting and running and never have had to pull waistband up or legs down for 5 stars from me!
Shorts be shorting
Love these shorts so very much, they do run a bit tight so they cut into my softness which in turn is not flattering but they are comfortable and soft.
