Trash jacket!
No, I do not recommend this product
This jacket is absolute garbage. Only reason I even own this is because I got a huge discount on it and a military discount as well. This thing is not worth the full price North Face is asking for. Cheap materials and only 2 pockets for a jacket that they're asking $500 for, that's absurd and down right disrespectful! I own the original Purple Mountain Light from the 90s and it's 100 times better than this pile of trash. The original has more pockets, it's heavier, has reinforced forearms, ladder locks on the hood, you can zip in a Denali fleece to make it even warmer on cold days (you can't even do that with the new one) and I can keep going and going how much the OG jacket is better in every way. If you're looking for a new jacket, this ain't it! Go with a different brand altogether since VFCorp the owner of TNF couldn't care less about their products and they're too busy doing collabs with social media influencers and trash like the Kardashians. Oh how the mighty have fallen!

Yes , I recommend this product
Pretty cool jacket. The materials feel premium and sturdy. I live in LA so I haven't used it in heavy rain yet, but it did hold up really well in the rain we did get a couple weeks ago. It is oversized , so keep that in mind when purchasing.
