[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Salomon Aero Glide 4 delivers a lightweight, responsive ride with excellent cushioning and support. The fit is true to size with generous internal volume, allowing room for thicker cushioned socks without sacrificing lockdown. A breathable upper and well‑designed lacing system provide comfort and security, while the slightly pointy, propulsive toe geometry promotes efficient toe‑off and speed. The bouncy midsole offers strong energy return, and the full rubber‑covered outsole protects the foam while delivering reliable grip across multiple terrains. Reflective details enhance visibility for low‑light runs, making this a versatile and confidence‑inspiring daily trainer.
Loved how bouncy these felt. I was using Brooks glycerin max and love cushion but found they had no bounce for running. These are the perfect balance. Here in Florida my terrain is mainly sandy dirt thick pine needles on the trails and these helped a lot with slippage I was having while running. I’m a plus size girlie with feet on the CUSP of wide and these fit perfect and weren’t too small for me!! Barely any heel slippage as well and felt really good so far. I mainly do 3-5 mile runs so I can’t speak on further distances than that.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I used to be a consistent runner back during 2020-2022, running 20km+ a week. I started getting plantar fasciitis so had to take a step back from running. I wanted to get myself back out on the road and found these which offered great road and gravel running features. After a few runs, I am feeling confident in starting to put miles back in and have not had any PF flare ups. Excited to keep going to see how far I can push myself. Sizing-wise, they are slightly wider and run a little bigger than I’m used to but overall a great fit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this pair to try out and honestly didn't know what to expect. I come from a trail and ultra background and have been shifting toward road and mixed terrain running lately, so I was curious how these would feel. Turns out, really good. The cushioning is bouncy in the best way, the drop feels just right too. I can't fully explain it but it makes me feel faster, like the shoe is nudging me forward. And the Vanilla Ice / Black colorway? Gorgeous. I've gotten multiple compliments already. I've always reached for Salomon on the trails and never thought to try them on the road. The quick-lace system felt like home from the first wear (same as my trail shoes), no adjustment needed. It's got me genuinely curious to explore more of what Salomon makes for the road.
I’ve struggled with plantar fasciitis, these shoes have been amazing. Great cushion and support. I’ve noticed great traction on gravel.
Perfect for long runs and love the laces. Can't wait to get more miles in these.
I've only worn them once walking in the woods, but so far I am very happy with them. I've had Salomon hikers before and really liked them, but trying on the latest version at the REI store, I was unhappy with the lack of cushioning. The REI footwear staff member showed me these and they are completely different with a sneaker feel but made for trails. I'm not a trail runner, but a trail walker. Love the styling and the color too!
These are super comfortable shoes and lots of cushion in the step. Unfortunately by the time I realized they didnt fit well for me in action, I dont think I can return them. The toe box seems wider than most Salomon shoes and I have narrow feet, so while it fits decently if I try to actually jog/go on any uneven surface my feet are sliding around in them way too much. I didnt notice at first so now tags are cut etc.
I was torn between the aero glide 3 gravel and the new 4 version. at first I liked the increased cushioning and stability of the 4 but now I'm back in the Gravel 3 I think its a superior fit and quality shoe only flaw is the treads wear down very fast and my feet start tilting to the outer edges. May be just how I walk. I think I also like regular laces but thats just me too. I hope they bring back the gravel 3!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been a big fan of Salomon’s trail shoes and hiking boots, so wanted to give these a try for gravel/road. The cushioning is insane, very comfortable over a 4 mile multisurface outing. I really liked the thicker lacing system. It took a little tweaking to get the right fit but then it stayed locked in. The only issue I had was a huge rock got wedged in the gap in the bottom under my arch.
