Just OK!
This is my third pair of Hoka Gaviotas. On average, I walk about 30 miles per week. In my opinion, the Gaviota 4 was a great shoe, the 5 good, and now the Gaviota 6 just OK. It seems as if Hoka has given up on actually trying to improve each subsequent model iteration and only changing it. This does seem to be a very well thought out corporate strategy. Perhaps it is time to look for a different brand. One that actually is committed to improving their products.
Great support, awesome daily shoes
Easily my favorite daily walking shoes, awesome support with decent cushion. I do see some mixed review on this model. It’s not geared towards maximum softness, but it’s a life saver for people don’t have good arch like me

Was not sure how they would be, I loved my Gaviota 5s, but these are superior in every way! Great stability and cushion.
Caused Lower Back Issues
Wonderful fit and comfortable but caused lower back pain. Had to return.
