I have had hip and knee problems and this shoe has helped me. It is just the right amount of cushioning and support. I have a narrow foot and the size B works well. This is my first time buying Hoka’s and I have already bought a second pair for when I wear these out. I would highly recommend them.
Feels like an improvement on the Mach 6 & I really like how they feel out of the box. I habe higher arches and these are supportive without feeling tight or needing a wide. Not sure if the berry colorway is exclusive or not but was happy to have found it here. It stands out to me amongst the other options, which I had trouble picking between upon the launch announcement.
Cushion and stability are great, but the sizing runs small. Wide is still narrow compared to sizing that I have gotten in my previous Hoka's (Challenger and Clifton styles)
I have been wearing the Hoka Mach series running shoe for several years because it's simply a winner. The Hoka Mach is the perfect combination of sufficient cushion and plenty of spring to provide a supported but snappy feel. This is my go-to shoe for training runs and racing alike. Great for everything from short shake-out runs to marathon racing. Mile after mile, no blisters or hot spots. I tend to have a wide foot, but the standard B-width Hoka provides a wide-enough toe box fit without having to size up to wide width. I love the fun colorways that Hoka continues to produce, and when they get dirty, they wash up really nicely by just throwing them in the washing machine and air-drying. These shoes typically last several years, because after I retire them from the running rotation, the uppers have always held up well enough for me to wear them as a weekend running-errands shoe, or a comfy walking shoe for airport travel.
These are the least comfortable Hokas I've ever worn. Definitely not worth the high price tag. The toe box must be really narrow because they smushed my toes and rubbed the outsides of both feet. They are also weirdly unstable. I don't know whose feet these are for but definitely not mine!
I love these shoes, the style, color and fit are awesome!
