Great, performed well.
I bought this for a hiking trip around Tahoe and it was exactly what I hoped for. Loved the ponytail feature. The hand portion was comfortable even using trekking poles and feels sturdy in its construction. Didn’t warp or deform badly after several days use. Love the color and looking forward to others in the future. Didn’t stink even after almost 30miles. Performed well in varied conditions but I wish there was an optional closure somewhere around the neck for windy conditions.
Soft-ish
At first I thought this hoodie was pretty soft, then after wearing it all day, all I could think about was getting it off. It's a little heavier than other SW active hoodies I own, but great for changing mountain conditions. I've worn it hiking, working out, and to a cooler-temperature river festival; always over another short-sleeve layer. I typically wear a medium and this fits TTS, there is some room to give and I never felt like it was too tight when using it for something active. It probably won't make the short list for a backpacking trip, maybe car camping and day hikes where I'm not wearing it for more than 3-4 hours.
Great fabric, awkward fit
I'm a fan of Smartwool products and of other sun hoodies I've purchased from REI. This wool blend fabric is good for me since I tend to run cool, and I love the blue color. What's awkward: 1) the fit is slightly small for a medium, 2) the thumb holes at the end of the sleeves are a weird 2-piece, tight fitting thing that I haven't seen in any other tops with thumb holes, 3) the collar is a bit too small for a hoodie, 4) the ponytail hole in the back of the hood is just...what?? I'll keep it and wear as a slightly warmer option for walking on the beach, but I won't buy this again.
Great product - I've been
Great product - I've been searching for an ultra lightweight sun shirt that doesn't smell terrible when sweaty and that dries quickly. This shirt checks all the boxes - super nice feel on the skin, very light and cool, great sun coverage with the hood, dries quickly, the list goes on. My only request would be a few more color options!

Lightweight but without feeling flimsy! So comfortable, not itchy at all, and the fit is loose but still low profile. This will definitely be top of my list when I need to get another sun hoodie.
