Great product with minor defects
I really like this product so far (2 weeks). I like the nice build, very good picture quality, good sound quality, and little fan noise it has. But there are a few things that could be imporved: 1. The Google interface and sometimes playback is slow but if you turn off automatic Keystone then they get fast! Worked for me! 3. Brightness set range is small, but not a biggie. 4. The zoom feature is great but it leaves bleeding white areas which would be great if removed. I would give it a 4.5 star given its high price. If it was cheaper I'd give it full 5 star (already gave 5 star btw). So may not be a great value for the price, but I guess it doesn't have much competition.
A big screen anywhere you go
I bought mine on Amazon but still a relevant review. I have owned my Anker Nebula Capsule 3 for half a year now and it has made living in my van nicer since my television is the size of a soda can and can be placed just about anywhere to offer me a reasonable screen to stream or game on while out in the wilderness. The brightness is not great during the day but at 200ansi who's really surprised there. But at night this thing shines! I use mine mostly as a TV in my bed area. It gives me a decent 40 inch screen on my wall with more than enough clarity to enjoy movies and tv shows. The sound is also nice, it has tricked me into thinking the sound was coming from the screen on the wall when its not. There are a ton of accessories for this device and I recommend a case from the manufacturer to keep your investment in good shape, plus the case holds everything you need to bring your projector with you anywhere you go. The remote is also nice as it offers voice control and has light up buttons that work when they want to. Overall as an overlander vanlifer I would recommend this device for those looking for a small solution to the big problem of screen size in the wilderness😁. I would submit pictures but the app doesnt seem to have an option for that so I do apologize for the lack of useful images.
Just what I needed
I needed a smart projector for Netflix in place of a tv and tried a cheaper option. But ultimately, it’s better to take the official route to avoid unforeseen complications. That said, this capsule 3 is delightful! The audio is comparable to a professional mini theater. Even at 10% it sounds almost like a Dolby. The video looks as clear as an actual 40in smart tv. And the brightness is just right for me. I also love the auto adjustment functions. The size is more double palm size for me. In the brand photo, that hand is likely very big.
It's great if you purchase for the right purpose
I love this projector b/c of the portability. It can be moved from room-to-room, while traveling, and never have to worry about hauling another TV around if I move again. Yes, the display is super dim if you want to view this in a room w/ bright daylight. But it works just fine even w/ my bedroom lamp on at night, and superb when I'm watching at night time with no lights on and the curtain; which is the primary reason for this purchase - to watch TV in my bedroom at night.
I love it so far! I got one to use as a tv in my bedroom as well as for sewing patterns since it has good short throw images. The speaker is better than i expected and we tend to leave it plugged in for limitless viewing but i did like that it gave you an early warning before the battery ran out on cordless mode. I only gave it four stars because for the price it should 100% include a carrying case or an accessory or something but oh well.
All Googled Out!
Not being a fan of Google I am overwhelmed by it whenever I turn on the Capsule 3. As for the picture quality it is excellent. Still haven’t located the access to the USB plug-in, which is a primary reason to purchase this model.
Amazing , but ………
This compact projector is an impressive and enjoyable device, offering a surprisingly sharp and high-quality image for its lumen rating, especially in dark environments. The setup is straightforward, and the auto-focus and auto-calibration features generally perform well. However, there are a couple of areas for improvement that could potentially be addressed in future software updates. First, the built-in speaker is adequate only in very quiet settings or at close range. For a more immersive experience, connecting an external Bluetooth speaker is highly recommended; fortunately, the Bluetooth connectivity is seamless and reliable. Second, and more significantly, the auto-calibration for screen size is overly conservative. The system often creates an image that is 1 to 1.5 feet smaller than the maximum possible screen size. This can be easily rectified by disabling the auto-calibration and manually adjusting the screen boundaries. Overall, this is a highly recommended projector, provided users are aware of these minor limitations and are comfortable with the simple workarounds.
Great product.
The projector itself is fantastic. My only gripe is the OS is painfully slow. If you plan on using another media device, like a gaming console or Apple TV, I highly recommend it. If not, beware

Good picture quality. Happy with it for my purposes but Google operating system is not the smoothest.
