Brooks  Glycerin 23 Road-Running Shoes - Women's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have worn Glycerins for many years and was excited about the new colors. I ordered the aqua/pink and they were beautiful. They were super comfortable and everything you’d expect for Glycerins. My normal size was fine despite reviews they ran small. However, something about the change quickly irritated an old stress fracture in my foot and they had to be returned. I am swapping out for Adrenalines but do hope to return to this line in the future. Even tried the Glycerin Flex and they felt AMAZING however I went with the safest bet. As a Sports Medicine provider who is always on her feet, I appreciate the support and discount to help fund my Brooks obsession.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a runner finding good shoes that will protect your feet is very important. First off, they run true to size! The cushion that these shoes provide help with stability and comfort. As soon as you start running you can feel the bouncy feeling when pressing down with your toes. The cushion all around the inside made it comfortable as I ran uphill. The cushion helped my feet stay in place even as i ran through rocky terrain. There’s nothing like being able to wear comfortable shoes while running without having to worry about hurting your feet. If you’re a runner, you know exactly what that means!

I love these Glycerins!!! Maybe my favorites yet:-) they are back to running on clouds!! Some of the past models haven’t been great. He toe box is perfectly proportional. I’m happy on the roads and the trails. I run 40-45 miles a week and I took them out of the box without a blister (but I always do that with Brooks)! Great shoe. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been so impressed by the comfortable yet supportive ride these shoes provide. From long runs and walks to all day outings, the comfort holds up consistently. They have a light, responsive feel that makes running on the paved trails that I typically run on enjoyable. They seem to absorb impact well and I have not experienced any type of fatigue even after having them on all day. Visually, I appreciate the clean, modern design these shoes have that definitely matches how the shoe performs. They are built for comfort and daily running and Brooks has not disappointed with this shoe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been waiting for this shoe! The last couple of Glycerin models have not felt "right". I believe you have found the perfect combination of style and comfort with the Glycerin 23. I wear a size 9 and the sizing felt spot on. The material is comfortable and fits around the foot nicely. The laces are a good length. And, I love the color! I hope you keep this model around for a while and am looking forward to getting some more once there are more color options. Now, just slap a grippy sole on it and I can use it as true trail running shoe. The shoe still works great on mostly dirt trails without large elevation gains (see picture). Thanks for the great shoe! I'll definitely be stocking up on this one :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Glycerin 23! They are extremely comfortable and true to size. I ordered the Medium (1B) width, and the front half of the shoe is wider than expected. However, I can wear thick or thin socks, as the extra space provides comfort rather than slippage/movement. I wear these when running on the treadmill, 5ks, 1 hour gym workouts (light-medium intensity), and even to run errands, go to classes, or work in a research lab. I also tried the Ghost and Ghost GTX, and the Glycerine 23 came out on top for me. Truly, the comfort is nothing like I've ever worn before, and even with the extra cushioning, the shoes are very lightweight.

I am a RN and have been a loyal Brooks customer. I’ve had a couple foot surgeries and they have been a godsend. I purchased Ghosts for several years and switched to Glycerin GTS a couple of years ago. This year’s version feels like there isn’t as much cushion. Also, the shoe base looks wider and it makes my feet look huge in comparison to the last ones I bought. I wear a 9.5 and have to get wide ones due to results of surgery on my one foot. The color options in wide are always dismal. I purchased the “spellbound/ Yucca / Pink ones this time and they just look manly…I don’t see pink in them and they are “yucca” . I’m going to have to return them, but am at a loss as to what to exchange them for. I may have to look into another brand, sadly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brooks are my all time favorite brand of tennis shoe, but this pair may take the cake. They fit my feet perfectly and are true to size. They are comfortable and very supportive. From the moment i put them on, to long runs, they fit comfortably! They are light weight and bouncy. It feels like I’m running on a cloud! My feet feel supported and stable though out my runs. And to top it all off, they are CUTE! My pair is a beautiful pink and white color and they are so stylish and look great on! Can’t say enough great things about the glycerin 23!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After doing all the research I landed on this brand and decided to try these out, since I’ve been wearing some old new balances for walks/runs and those didn’t provide a whole lot of support I figured it was time to upgrade. I tried them on at home, the fit was nice and cushiony. I’m between 61/2-7 so I ended on a size 7. Not sure if I’m supposed to break these but I went on a 2 mile (pretty flat terrain) and my feet were uncomfortable, my calf’s were hurting. Just pain in different places & I ended up with a blister on the heel of my right foot. Has never happened with any other shoe. Will be giving them another shot but already not impressed for the high prices.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a Ghost devotee for years, but recently gave these a shot after a running slump... looking for a shoe with a bit more bounce & responsiveness. These fit the bill! Very comfortable, true to size, chic color, exactly what I was looking for. Nice details to the design as well - the heel loop for pull-on and the lace style - all very thoughtful and comfortable. Super happy with these! Brooks again for the win.
