Amazing comfort, soft, great colour choices, Wide foot room. I’m a long distance walker never needed to break in ready to go, will be purchasing more soon
I’ve dealt with loads of shin issues in the past while training as a distance runner, and the glycerin max was like a breath of fresh air and felt amazing to run in. I was excited to try out the glycerin max 2 which originally seemed to work well- but after about a month of use I can say I will never run in them again. The heel is super low leaving instability when taking fast turns and the cushioning in the heel is not flat which has left me with pain in both of my Achilles heel. I really wanted to love these but they are nothing like the original. I can no longer find the original glycerin max in my size and will be transition back into wearing the ghost max.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So sad these didn’t work out for me bc I was so excited about the color. I got the sensation of blisters coming in on the inside of my arch after a 5 mile run and then on my second run the blisters came in and were angry at mile six and had to do the rest of my 18 mile run with blisters. They are much harder too and I was also getting toe pain towards the end of my run. I decided to return them because my regular glycerin did not do this to me at all.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Slight stiffer than original one, but I really like this shoes. I ran about 22 miles in and there was little crack on lateral outer soles..not sure if i stepped on rocks or the softer material or not, but I will be wearing this shoes for upcoming marathon training for sure! If there wasn’t crack after I ran 22 miles, I will give 5 stars!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The original v.1 was THE BEST running shoe I’ve ever run in, recommended it to all my friends and family. The new version (#2) is much firmer. I’m not sure why you would create a firmer version of the best plush shoe/: there are already so many firm running shoes on the market, I thought that was the point of the max cushion. If anything I thought v2 might be more plush. The rocker in v2 is completely different as well. So sad. Going to switch to Nike’s Vomero Premium for now until the glycerine max 3 comes out, with the hope it’ll return to something similar to the original v1.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love! I ran in them for 1 week before my first full marathon and I barely had a blister and have no foot pain post marathon! Highly recommend. 10/10. I did upsize from a 10 to a 10.5, the toe box felt a little small in my normal size 10.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Huge fan of the Glycerin line and this one doesn’t disappoint. A little more flow than the original max with the same great cushion. Love it for my recovery and easy runs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tested out and wanted to buy the OG, but could not find them in-stock in my size, so I figured these would be similar. However, these are definitely a different shoe. For a max cushion shoe that I wanted to use as a recovery/long run shoe, they felt very stiff and heavy and could not put more than 0.5 miles in it without having major arch-pain. The rocker also felt like it got moved farther forward making it less effective for me. Usually I can relegate a shoe I don't love for easy runs or even just walking, but I think I will have to trash these almost-new shoes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Feel like walking on a cloud! The best shoe i have ever worn!! Have been walking 16000+ step everyday with these on, loving my pair!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quick notes: - More narrow than previous Glycerins (as someone with metatarsalgia this was disappointing) - Sad that there’s no GT version of the shoe but the cushion makes up for it - Too much cushion if you’re not used to but I found it manageable and my feet were so comfy in these when I took them to all the universal studios parks in Orlando! - Excellent heel lock! Still not a well rounded shoe to take into they gym for strength training but it can be if you ignore the high stack - LOVE the cushioned tongue, I returned the Ghost Max3 for this reason alone! (I hate that they slid inward when putting them on so I returned them) - For me it works out as an everything shoe because of my sensitive metatarsal. I think most would enjoy this more as a walking shoe, bc runs feel a bit off balance due to the stack if you aren’t use to it. Might need some ankle stability for these! Maybe nitpicking… but I am so sick and tired of having to clean these, good lord! These are the shoes after a thorough clean! I hate that they feel permanently stained, I haven’t even worn them on my outdoor runs/walks and they get dirty so fast! PLEASE give us a good solid black shoe! If anything, some more solid colors! It’s like designers don’t take into account that they are running shoes, KNIT shoes to top it off. Come on, a nice black shoe wouldn’t hurt to add!
