[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe is so different from any other I’ve ever tried! This is my first pair of Brooks and the difference is incredible. When you’re running, not only is it incredibly comfortable and the width just right, unlike other narrower shoes, but it’s bouncy and propels you forward. The shoe is to running like an electric bike! It made running so much more enjoyable for me. The difference a quality pair of running shoes makes is wild. I was able to run longer because my feet weren’t hurting, I stayed comfortable, and I felt faster and more efficient in my run. These are also incredible just to run errands in. Absolutely the most comfortable shoe I own.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes have a soft cushioning, which I noticed as soon as my foot settled in, however, they are also structured enough to give me the stability while running on trails and uneven grounds. The shoe rolls forward smoothly and the stride stays balanced. It feels secure underfoot at both relaxed and quicker paces without any pressure points, which I highly appreciate. The look feels intentional and functional, but still stylish, which matches how it performs. I can see myself wearing these in casual settings when I seek comfort as well, such as the airport or grocery shopping. Overall, this is a very high quality shoe, perfect for different purposes from the gym, to running outdoors, to casual city strolls.
The shoes look great, nice cushioning. The GTS system isn't as supportive as with my Adrenaline GTS. I'm forced to roll out a lot.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these shoes for running! When I put on the Glycerin GTS 23, I immediately feel comfort and a bounce to my step. My ankles feel secure when I run because of the extra cushion inside the shoe that supports the lower part of your ankle. After running, my feet still feel good. I love the pink and black color, and the size of the heel and sole of the shoe are great for walking and running. These running shoes feel light weight and one of the first things I noticed was the amount of grip on the bottom for traction. I really like the grip for running on different types of terrain. For reference, I am wearing my normal size and would say these running shoes fit true to size. I would highly recommend the Glycerin GTS 23 shoes!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pronators beware of over correction! This used to my go to shoe for working especially the since the hours are long and the amount of activity I perform being in sports medicine. These killed my feet and I'm so upset. The new changes they made are causing me to over supinate and my tread wear is on the outside of the sole. I tried to give them a chance, but I feel that the new design towards the back on the outside is causing a collapse creating an over correction in supination for me. I naturally pronate from a high arch and these used to be perfect. I even bought the flex which also causes me to over pronate now. I'm so disappointed in the changes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are great for running, and even regular everyday wear. I've been using them to run on tracks, treadmills, and roads, and they've worked great for all of these terrains. They provide great ankle support and keep my feet feeling comfortable the entire run. It gives a light and bouncy kind of feel while running that helps make running long distances feel easier. I've even worn them for everyday wear a few times and love how they look with casual wear. Aesthetically they are just pleasing, as well. They look really nice, athletic, and sleek.
I hate these shoes with a passion. I run around 25-35 miles a week and these are truly awful, it feels like you’re running with cinder blocks on your feet. Since buying them my feet have gotten 2x as many blisters, my hip has been giving me problems, and my toenail fell off. On top of that, they have ruined my pace and distance. My pace has increased by 40 seconds per mile and the distance I can go has dropped due to hip pain and blisters since running in these. I thought I was going crazy but then I switched back to a different pair the other day and my run times and distance are back at what they were before.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I looked into Brooks I was looking for a shoe that would give me the stability that I needed after several hip surgeries and the Glycerin GTS 23 has delivered. I am not currently running but it has been a great walking shoe and I can feel the difference in my gait and in how my hip feels after a walk.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for my mother-in-law for an early Mother's Day gift. She had been having some foot and heel pain. As soon as she slipped these on, she sighed a sigh of relief and said they were the most comfortable shoes she had ever worn. I think I have converted her to Brooks for the rest of her life!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stable and plush. Gets me through my shifts in the OR. I can add my own insoles without a problem. Would like to see more color options in general, but especially in the wide widths.
