THANK YOU SALOMON! Runner's are always worried that brands will mess up a good thing, well that is not the case. The Glide was my favorite road trainer in 2024 (and good enough for a half marathon PR). The opti foam 2 is as good or better and am excited to get another 400+ miles out of this pair. Would love to see a little plate in this one day for that extra je ne sais quoi! Size down a half size.
Not enough padding on the top edges
Unfortunately these hurt my ankle bones and Achilles. There is not enough padding along these edges and the hardness digs in with each step. I can no longer wear these which is so disappointing, and I am still healing from not realizing this on my first long walk. I got the vanilla ice and I’ve had them since November but have only just started wearing them with nicer weather.
Buy it! You won't regret it.
I immediately noticed when started running that these shoes are bouncy and they felt so comfortable. It does exactly what it says, "no, breaking in." I didnt get any cramping at all. It's only my first time running in them on the trail, but I'm already loving it. Thank you Salomon!! Cannot wait to take them out on the road!!
walking/running on air
I use these shoes when I plan on taking long walks, jogging, or even running on the treadmill. I have flat feet, and they are typically sore after a run, but with these, I feel at ease and not in pain. I can’t recommend these shoes enough. They are worth the try!
Lightweight Glide
Super comfortable, fluffy underfoot. Love the fit of the upper and the softness of the sole. A great trainer for those weekly miles. Fits true to size.

So comfy + breathable
Super bouncy, lightweight, feels like im walking on clouds. The small holes in the sides of the shoes makes them so wearable to wear for a while.
