Drinking ice water out of it is a problem!

The 1 gallon jug is awesome. My only complaint is that the opening that you drink from is terrible. If you put ice in your water, the open is so big that the ice cubes come out while your drinking it and almost chokes you. I may end up installing a net over the opening so the ice cant come through the opening. The lid doesn't line up correctly with the Yeti logos and to make it seal completely you have to tighten the lid really tight. Ones the lid is tight, you better be strong to get it off. Outside of those issues, it's a typical Yeti. It's awesome. I pray Yeti hears my complaint and offers a solution or comes out with a new lid.

AMAZING I LOVE IT

I bought this a couple days ago and I love it so far I am overwhelmed by how good the quality is and how it keeps my water ice cold for hours and hours water tastes amazing it is pretty heavy which is expected it’s made out of steel plus a whole gallon water in there I do gotta say it gets scratched so easy it’s actually stupid but oh well and no leaks whatsoever as long as the lid is tighten pretty hard but not hard to take off whatsoever it’s not what other people make it to be it’s not a 2 person job whatsoever all you gotta do is put it to chest level then wrap your hand around against your chest and with your left hand unscrew it simple

Great on the jobsite!

bought this jug when it first came out, constant abuse on the job site and it still holds up strong, no leaks no dents and very minor scratches. i have had this jug fall 5+ feet onto concrete onto the lid and it left a tiny mark. every other jug i had before lasted 3 months until it cracked or the top leaked leaving the floor of my truck soaked. this i just throw in the backseat and never have to worry about leaks. if you fill it with about 1/3 ice it'll last two days till being ice cold in a hot truck. do not make the mistake of filling with ice to the brim. i did when i first got it like i did with my other jugs, takes forever to melt! dozens of coworkers have bought one as well after seeing the quality, truly an investment!

Wonderful, saved my farm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a heart condition in which I can get into a very dangerous situation if I get dehydrated. I have been forced to come all the way back into the house to refill water every 30 minutes and because I seldom did, my heart condition continued to get worse. I mounted my new 1 gallon jug on the tractor and now I have plenty of water for a full days work in the field. Thank you guys

Avoid frequent trips to hotel ice machines!!

My purpose for buying this was to avoid having to frequently visit the ice machine while staying at a hotel. I had a 3 night stay. I filled this with ice from my freezer around 9am on a Friday morning. Throughout the day on Friday and Saturday, I was opening the jug and pulling ice out to put in my Yeti tumbler. I would shake the jug periodically to keep the ice from sticking together. I still had useable ice cubes Sunday morning (though not many because I used most). I didn’t need to visit the ice machine for 2 full days! It worked exactly as I was hoping!!!! This jug is the perfect addition to my “me weekends”!!

Don’t waste your money or risk your life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this jug over a year ago and do not have anything good to report. Today is the last day I will ever use this jug as I’m unwilling to go without water one more day. Today the lid came unscrewed(10+ time in a year) in the tractor and spilled my days worth of water. Out here in this old tractor raking hay miles away from a clean water source i count on my water jug with my life. And if you are lucky enough to have the lid stay on throughout the day you almost need a pipe wrench to get the lid off. My wife can never get the lid off at the end of the day, ever. Oh and the top sweets like a marathon runner.

Worth every cent

I bought this just in time for long, hot, and sweaty days. It will stay ice cold overnight, I haven’t tested it to see if it would last longer because I use it too much. I didn’t realize how much water I could drink in a day until I got this. I used to rely on the 64oz bottle until I got tired of running out of water before noon, so I took a chance and haven’t looked back. I still use my 64oz bottle quite a bit though.

Hands Down Most Durable Jug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased my Rambler one gallon jug a year and a half ago. It is constantly getting thrown around and abused but it withstands literally everything. I had my jug on the steps of a 40,000 lb tractor, forgot it was there and ran it smooth over in our driveway. Not one leak and not crushed. Nonetheless, it holds ice for several days shaking around in the tractor cab. I can guarantee there is not a better water jug made.
