Quality Jacket - No Complaints

So far have spent five days skiing with this jacket in Utah (and matching Sky Ridge ski pants). Excellent performance and fit. The jacket is well-cut for movement on the slopes. Great abundance of pockets to store and stash needed items for the day. Have been caught in hard/wet storm and stayed 100% dry with no wet-out issues. The material feels extremely robust and well built. Paired with a reasonable base layer, this jacket will allow you to stay dry and comfortable all day. Another excellent MH product!

Sky Ridge Jacket - Great fit and finish!

Great fit (XL). Not too big or small. Ergonomic cut makes this jacket very conforming in almost any situation. I did not get a chance to use in really snowy conditions to evaluate the hoody, but it does stay out of the way and fit's comfortably over my helmet. Pockets could not be located any better in my opinion. Large zip's for great accessibility. Fabric is very unique and has a texture that seems to repel any accumulation of snow. Overall my favorite jacket for backcountry excursions.

Armpits way too high

Just like the other review, the armpits were also very high on my jacket making it pretty uncomfortable even without layers on and it was even worse when I attempted to layer. I've only had one other MH product (cloud bank gore tex ski pants) and the build quality was quite poor, so not surprised to have more issues again. Definitely returning and won't be ordering another one- from my experience all MH products seem to have problems.

great modern fit

Not your dads ski jacket. This thing fits like a snowboard jacket should, nice coverage. Lots of pockets and a powder skirt. Cool gore tex shell at a good price. 6' 190 and I use a large.

Just buy it

Very durable and dry! I’m 6’ 215 and bought the XL and the arms are perfect, the waist is a bit long but the pull draws in the pockets fix that just fine!

Does its job

Simple and effective. Breathes better than I expected! Wore it skiing yesterday and it kept the wind and cold at bay with a mid layer underneath.
