I am 15 5,8 110lb and wear 28-34 pants. I bought these in a small long because no other brand at the time had long/tall inseams in-stock. Anyways they do not have a 34in inseam as advertised they are more like 31in and the waist is huge. These are way to short and I will be sending them back.
Really enjoyed this outer shell jacket for snowboarding in Utah. I used a different jacket underneath for insulation and warmth, worked well without it being uncomfortable. I’m 6’2” and the length and size fit just right, the sleeves aren’t short or pulled up when raising my arms. The neatest thing about this, and if you have the Firefall pants/bib, is that there’s a hook inside the jacket near your tailbone. That hook attaches to a loop that’s affixed to the pants/bib so that the jacket doesn’t rise up if you should fall and down the slope while skiing/snowboarding.
First of all, thanks for making clothing in XXL tall! I had the previous version of these bibs and loved them. I was psyched when I saw the re-design and with good reason. The added pockets and tweeking of the existing ones is great. Well thought out and super useful as I use them for work. With work in mind though, why would you do away with the leg zips??? Kind of a key feature in any snow bib. Would also loved to have seen the ability to un-clip the suspenders which the previous version lacked as well. Overall good bib that could have been great.
These are great bibs. Lots of pockets, insulated to a great level, not so thin that it's only a shell but not so thick you're sweating in the spring. The side zippers double as side vents, as the zippers can zip from the top and bottom, although there isn't any mesh so the snow will get in if you take a fall with the zips open. I'm 5ft10, 34 waist, 30 inseam and bought the medium short. They fit great! I tried the large short and I was swamped by them
[Employee of mountainhardwear] Outstanding quality for the price. These bibs performed perfectly during a backcountry snowmobile trip in Alaska. I stayed dry and warm all day despite the fact it's was in the single digits and lightly snowing all day. Great range of motion across the knee area and crotch, which is nice considering I'm 6ft-4in tall.
These are the best non Gore-Tex pants ive ever had, which is a lot. Im 6' 1" and the L fits well, just a little baggy, but not dragging or interfering with my bindings. The only thing i dont love is the chest velcro, a zipper would be appropriate. No lace clip on the powder cuff, no back clasp hook. Love these pants. P
I received these bibs a week ago and have already used them twice! I ski in Wyoming and first time it was single digits and second time was in the negatives temp wise. Each time they kept me plenty warm. I’m 5’10 155lbs and got a small regular and it fits perfect. Couldn’t make any recommendations! I highly recommend!!
I really like the color. I love all the pockets. It is a little bit of a looser and baggy fit than I typically go for so I might suggest sizing down if you like things to fit more snugly. The thermal protection seems like it'll do the work but I have yet to fully test it.
I bought a Firefall Bib last month and it’s been so good! I really like the lightweight feel and versatility of the pockets and design. I will definitely be a Mountain Hardware buyer after using this bib!
Runs very large. I'm 6'2 190lbs and i was swimming in a size L. super comfortable. tons of pockets. looks great. I returned this in exchange for a size M and it fits great.
