Not good for external routing.

I bought these so I could winter ride on my '07 Specialized sequoia (9sp shimano 105, externally routed cables). Because these don't accomodate externally routed cables very well, they don't mount far enough up the bars and let too much cold air in, resulting in num hands. My mountain bike with bar mitts, not only fit better, they also do a better job of sealing your hands in after inserting your fingers. I'm going to be returning these for a set of Bar Mitts.

Still waiting for full review.

Easy install and comfy and warm on a chilly ride. Temperature has not dropped again to really test these out in extreme cold.
