Rated 4 out of 5 by from Go bigger I bought these shoes from REI and had to exchange them with Evolv to get the right size. Even then, I am currently wearing them and am trying my best to break them in, but they are small. I wear a street size 8.5, bought the 9.5, returned them and got a 10.5 and wish I had gone bigger to a size 11. Very tight on the toes too. When in doubt, go 2 to 2.5 sizes bigger. REI only carries up to a size 10, but Evolv carries these up to a size 11. Haven't climbed on them yet but according to my linoleum floors, they are very sticky. They are also vegan, so that is a win! Good luck, and buy a much bigger size than you think.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great so far! So far I really like these shoes. I was having a hard time finding a pair of all around climbing shoes that were comfortable but still aggressive. I recommend trying on pairs in person if that is an option. They are a little tight, but seem to be stretching with time. They've been particularly good for bouldering and sport climbing, but I have also used them for trad.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Shoe, Runs Small Overall these shoes are great. I wear a 6.5 street size and initially ordered a size up after hearing these run small. After a week of misery, I exchanged the 7.5's for 8's. I've been climbing on them 3-4x a week for two months now, both indoors and outdoors. I haven't noticed any stretch. My only complaint is that I've found I have a rather low volume heel and I don't fill out the heel cup very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE these . . . Sized up 2 full sizes! Just did my first day of climbing with these and they are incredible! Fit like a glove, super sticky, very nimble. Not comfortable to wear for walking or standing around belaying. I had to go up two full sizes from a roomy 38 in my sportiva tarantulace to a snug 40 in these, and my womens street shoes are size 7.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super Small I want to start off by saying I love these shoes. The extra rubber for toe and heel hooking is excellent. They are also pretty comfortable most of the time for being slightly aggressive shoes. I am currently only using them in the gym but they have done well on many different styles of climbing. My only complaint is that they are so small. I normally wear a 7 in la sportivas and I had to order a 9 in these. My street shoe is a 6.5 so if you are ordering these I would go up 2-2.5 sizes!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sizing recommendation Heard from the folks in the store to order your street shoe size in any evolv climbing shoes. I usually wear a 39.5 in climbing shoes but am going to go with street size 9.5, I think that is a 41.5- I tried on a ton of climbing shoes this time around and every other brand I was a 39.5 so I'm guessing my recommendation would be to order street shoe size or 2 sizes up from your usual climbing shoe euro size.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Runs VERY Small I did all my research and ordered my size. They were so small that I couldn't get them on (think 3-4 sizes too small). I was disappointed that there was no mention of the size difference in the description. I am new to climbing (indoor) so I am unaware if an understood "order three sizes up" exists. Other than that they look great and I will be ordering a new *larger* pair. I'm giving it 2 stars, not because they aren't solid quality, but rather so people will read about the size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Runs small but amazing shoes These shoes run so much smaller than the other Kira’s, but once you break them in and if they fit, they’re amazing ! I’m a size 8 and I had to get size 11 at the factory . 2/3 sizes smaller than they are.

Questions & Answers

I read some place that these people shoes are vegan but I did not read anything about that and I doubt that they are but still I'm wondering, are they?
