For boots: Add one half size to your street shoe size. You should be able to slip one finger behind your heel when you are standing up with the boot unlaced and your toes touching the front. If the boot is too short, your toes will get smashed walking downhill. Too long and your heel will slide up and down and give you blisters.

I’ve been climbing for about 10 months now, got these as my second pair of shoes after my first began wearing through. I love my finales so so much and they’re so comfortable! Although they’re a pretty neutral shoe, I find that they’re still amazing for my harder sends and they still heel hook and do other precise movements very well. An amazing shoe for beginners as well as just for warming up. I can wear these for hours without getting uncomfortable. Only issue is that they started wearing through after about 4 months but I also tend to climb 4-6 days a week so I’m not super surprised. Highlyyyy recommend finales I love them so much
I have had these for about a month. I got them one week after discovering rock climbing (because I fell in love with it!) The rubber is a little sticky. The soul is good support. These have stretched slightly but they fit fantastic! I can wear them for hours with minimal pain. They don't come loose at all on heel hooks. I usually wear 10-9 in regular shoes, but I went down to a 8.5 for these. I am working on climbing at 5.10b while top roping and they are working fantastic. I don't really boulder in these so I can't give how well they'd work with bouldering. P.S. I get so many compliments on how they look. :)
I bought these shoes a couple months back, and thus far served me well for indoor bouldering and top roping. The laces are great for climbers who have narrow feet and/or high arches and want an all-encompassing, embracing hug from their climbing shoes. That being said; this shoe runs 1/2 size smaller than its previous model. After months of wear, even with my hopes of them stretching, they crush my toes much more than I would have hoped! For reference, my street shoe size is a women's 9, I ordered a 39, but I should have ordered a 39.5! Despite minor sizing issues on my end, they are still serve me well on the wall.
I fell in love with these shoes and when they went on sale in store I splurged and bought them! It was fine until the shoes wore out a bit (5+month) and the top of the shoe in the inside tore up my big toe and squeezed my toes so poorly I couldn’t concentrate on climbing any longer. Slowly I stopped climbing because it hurt so bad and left bruises & sores on my toes. My sizing was suggested by an experienced worker. I think the way the shoe formed around my feet was incorrect. The product is great for others but it’s touch and go. You Literally have to HOPE they don’t mess your feet up. I get the shoes should feel uncomfortable, unlike street shoes but these shoes gave me unbearable PAIN
Bought these a month ago for indoor and outdoor climbing, and I trust my feet so much more with them than with the shoes I was wearing previously. I don't like laces because it's such a hassle to take them off between climbs, but these are worth it because they fit my narrow feet very well (sized down as with any rock shoe). They've stretched a tiny bit but only to fit better. I like them for bouldering (which I've only done in the gym) and sport climbing (both in the gym at at the Red), and I'm comfortable using the heel and smearing.
I got hooked on climbing after going with friends and decided I needed my own shoes. I have fairly narrow flat feet with weird toes and tried on what felt like a million shoes before finding these. I typically wear an 8.5/9 in street shoes and got a 39.5. I have only used them a handful of times so can't attest to how much they might stretch. I love how tight I can lace them especially compared to the velcro rental shoes. I have used them solely for indoor bouldering so far and they have worked great! I feel very secure on the wall.
I'm graceful as heck in these climbing shoes. On point like a ballerina. I didn't want laces originally, but I'm able to get a more molded fit with laces. I went a size down. I recommend trying a size or two smaller. The important fit is on the arch!
I love these shoes! These are great shoes for beginner/intermediate climbers. I got a half size smaller than my actual foot size. For example when I measure my foot I'm a women's size 7 so I got a EU 37.5 since that is equivalent to a women's 6.5. I also based this off of the rental shoes at the gym. When I got my shoes I thought they would be really tight and stiff since they're new but surprisingly they were comfortable and I could climb in them the same day! I was really in-between these and the Tarantulace but I'm so glad I got these because the front of the turantulace's are much more round which can get annoying once you start doing more technical stuff. Not to say those aren't good shoes but that is something to take into consideration.
I got these shoes when I started climbing. Three years later I'm sad to say I've finally worn through the toe and have to replace them. I did everything in these shoes; full days at the crag, try-hard bouldering gym sessions, deep water soloing, etc. They've seen me through a lot and they were adaptable enough to let me do all those things. The fit is very comfortable and the make and design works for most scenarios. The only thing I ever had trouble with sometimes was my heel slipping out during a heel hook, but that might have been a me problem. I just started to lace them tighter if I knew I was going to use my heel on a problem or route. Also, as I said, these lasted me three years of climbing 3-5 times per week (minus a pandemic break). These are very well made and comfortable shoes, and exactly what you need as your first upgrade from gym rentals.
I've had these since December, started climbing a month or two before that. I couldn't find a tight fit for my narrow feet in the other beginner-level shoes I tried on from La Spo or similar brands like Butora, Scarpa, etc, but these fit perfectly. Tight and molded to my feet (and the laces help), and comfortable enough. The grip is excellent. Get these a size smaller than your normal shoe size. I take them off in between climbs as most people do, and have not had any complaints since I got em. Added plus—they're cute. Highly recommend!
