Does what deep tissue massage therapist did

I never take time to write these. Quick review I was having chronic low back tightness and pain. Went to get 2 massages - 2 nd therapist pressed hard on my glutes and pain went away. Bought this ball to roll out glutes and is so painful to do but it really helps. I just lay on ball for about 2-3 minutes each side and it releases the back pain along with 15-20 minutes of daily morning yoga / stretching. I really appreciate the effectiveness of this tool

Expensive for what it is

I received this as a gift, and while it is not bad, it is also not great. It does not have enough grip to stay in place when I am trying to target specific muscles. If I place it on the wall, to target specific back muscles, it just slides around the wall, staying in the same spot on my back. A racquetball or lacrosse ball would actually work better.

Great!

I use it for physical therapy and it’s comfortable and does what it’s supposed to do. I have also used it to target muscle groups that my foam roller can’t really work on effectively (like the periformis) and it’s lovely.

well made but a bit too small

This was well made and works ok, but I feel it is a bit too small. 20% bigger would be better. I'll keep it but I dont use it much due to the hard to use size.

Really handy

I couldn't tell you why I bought this, and I'm surprised in retrospect that I paid this much for a hard foam ball, but I love it. This mostly lives on my desk at work, and it's pretty easy to get most of my sore spots while I read emails or do other hands free work. The small size is nice when I travel, too.

An Absolute Must Have!

This little guy is a game changer for anyone active who gets those dreaded sore muscles!! With just enough give in the green sections and a denser consistency in the black circles - the trigger point addresses any workout recover needs that you may have while remaining conveniently portable and inexpensive!

Good but not durable

Ball worked well for rolling knots. Never noticed much difference with the layers and it split at the layers after 1-2 years of light use. Does not last for an expensive ball.

Helpful, but not necessary

I have the larger version on this product and love it, so I thought I'd try out this size. I would be better off just using a lacrosse ball since it is harder / cheaper.

great to loosen up my hips

My right hip was tight for months. Using the massage ball really helps loosening everything up before squats and deadlifts.
