Easy Set-up and very sturdy
Hey all, this bike rack does the trick. I have two bikes, one trekking and another mountain bike. The rack easily fits the two and even though my mountain bike handles are very wide, the frame makes it so it fits facing forward. Also, I have it free standing (no nail in the wall) and I don't see this tipping at all. Well done
Good for my city apartment!
Super easy to assemble and seems very sturdy. Fits great for mine and my husband's bikes in our apartment. Only drawback is that the arms seem a bit long, making the bikes themselves stand awkwardly far from the wall. Would still recommend!
Good product
The stand was easy to assemble and met most of my expectations. I set it up by myself without much issue. I was disappointed with the quality of the rubber on the arms. They are held in friction (not screwed), so you need to twist them into position. Doing that a few times to get the height correct made the rubber sheath on two of the arms rip open. One thing to be aware of is that while the height of the stand is about 7 feet, it is a tight fit without an 8+ foot ceiling. With a 7 foot ceiling, it is a tight fit above the lower bike and with clearance for the upper bike.
Will probably buy another
I’ve somehow formed an obsession with buying bikes lately…. And during the pandemic for goodness sake…. They’re all stashed in a spare room just sitting there taking up space. I’ve looked at reviews for a bunch of racks that don’t need to be screwed into the wall (because I messed up my last one and it’s tilted now) and this is what I settled on. So far so good. I will update the review if anything breaks!
Works great!
Easy to install and works great to get my bikes off the floor. :) Because I'm able to put the lower bike up a little, I'm also able to store a third bike on the floor just under it without the handlebars or pedals causing a problem.
Perfect fit for my bikes in the garage
I’ve been looking for a way to store my two bikes for a long time. Do I hang them? From the ceiling? From the wall? Do I need to find a stud? Ugh! This answers all those questions with ease, without a stud, and inexpensively done.
Not good for two mountain bikes with large tires
We have 2 mountain bikes with 29" tires and frames that slope down toward the saddles. To hold the sloped frames, the bikes had to be tilted or else the arms on the rack would slip. Because the tires are so big, in the end it was impossible to fit both bikes on the rack without one of the tires hitting the floor and doing some scary acrobatics to try to set the top bike on the top rack. I also would not recommend this if your mountain bike's handle bars are on the long side—the handle bars will hit the wall forcing you to turn the front tire :/ I will have to return this and go with two floor stands instead. That being said, I think it would work great for road bikes with a straight top frame bar.
Really good
Awesome, great way to save space when you live in an appartment and keep bikes inside like we do
Great Rack
I bought this rack last year after moving into a condo and losing garage storage space. This rack works great! I use it everyday to hang a 17-year old mountain bike on the top hooks (which is not a light bike), and only twice have I noticed that the hooks have slid down the pole. I'm amazed that the weight of my bike has not caused the hooks to slide more. The rack is very stable, and has never come close to tipping. Great rack!
Best Birthday Gift for my bicycle enthusiast bf
Rack is currently holding a heavy Gary Fisher mountain bike and Giant road bike. It is very sturdy and was super simple to put together. It has been up for a week now, and no problems so far. Bikes were previously taking up the a lot of the entryway of his small condo. Now the bikes are out of the way and looks great too. Bikes do not touch while hanging, so he does not worry about scratches or any harm coming to his babies (the bikes) ;)
