Great for road and trail riding!

Never had a Ghost bike till a few months ago but I must say I am in love with this bike. everything works so smooth. Love the hydraulic brakes, which was another first for me. I am officially a fan of ghost bikes. when I start looking for a mountain bike it will be a ghost. Its smooth on roads, and great on trails or if you have to ride in the grass or off road. the tires are great since they are more like a mountain bike tire on the outsides so if you have to take a sharp turn on a non smooth surface you still have the grip you need. Probably the best constructed bike I have owned.

Ghost Rider Rey

I've had the bike for a couple of days and just rode it around the block. It handles very well. I sit in a more upright position which I like. I specially like the quality of the bike. The fillet welds are very smooth and evenly placed, no cosmetics to hide poor welds. It's quite functional too with bosses for installing a rear rack and a bracket (near the bottom bracket) to attach a kickstand. No more laying the bike against a post or on the ground.

Best bike I have ever owned

I bought this bike about a month ago and have only put about 30-35 miles on it so. Within in 1 week of purchase I rode in a 15 mile benefit ride. The terrain was mostly flat with paved roads but there were a few miles of dirt and mud. It was cold and windy. Some gusts were 15-30 mph. This bike rode perfectly. It preformed beautifully, shifting smoothly and seamlessly making the "uphills" so easy I never had to leave my seat: just shifted and pedaled. The saddle was comfortable and there was no residual soreness the next day. Because of the more upright riding position, my neck/back never became strained or painful either during the ride or after. I love, love, love this bike!! It is cosmetically pleasing, functionally adept and very comfortable. My customer service representative at REI was very helpful in getting me into the best bike for me. His expertise and knowledge was impressive, but not aggressive. The free 6 month tune-up is a bonus. 5 STAR experience on all levels. https://www.rei.com/media/8252fa94-ef4a-49e8-b723-76e9101b3958

Ghost Panamax X4

The bike is worth the value given its features. Brakes are excellent dry or wet over long rides. Frame is reinforced for light off-road use, yet not very light for maneuvering and effortless peddling on-road--the cost for being a hybrid. The handlebars' grip are of above average comfort, and its height encourage upright sitting. The tires' width and design are ideal for the X4's mix-use. The only my complain/discomfort is the unpadded seat on long road cruising yet shape design is spot on for my anatomy.

Front and rear rim failed after 2 months use.

Since purchase I have had both the front and rear rim bend. I had to pay additional funds to replace both, I really regret buying this bike, I don't intend to ever purchase a GHOST bike again and I would warn others against doing so.

Terrible product, broke on the second ride.

I purchased this bike, I was really impressed at first, but on the second ride the wheel warped/bent. Additionally the shifting was no good, very rough and jagged, not smooth at all. Do not buy!!!
