My go to shorts!
This is my third pair of these shorts, I love them that much. Last year, I bought two pair and wore them constantly, so got another pair this year. Super comfortable, dry quick, lightweight and have the perfect amount of give in them while hiking. I've worn my other two pair constantly and they have held up well and don't show any wear and tear. I normally wear a size 4-6 and with these, I always go with the 6 - the fit is just right.
Love these shorts.
Great fabric, great rise, sizing is on par. I am generally a size 10 and 10 fit perfectly. (5'5" 155 athletic) Nice length and they make my backside look super great. I got them in carbon and it's a great neutral color.
Ordered an 8 and it was too big
I ordered these shorts because I'm going somewhere tropical. I like the material, but had to return them because I ordered the 8 and they're too big. According to the size chart, with 40-inch hips and a 29-inch waist, that should have been the right size. I'm 5'4" and 127 pounds. I'm going to try a size 6 next.
Perferct shorts
I bought these shorts for a trip to Colombia, attractive enough for beach town wear and rugged enough for trekking. They did not disappoint. They are stylish, fit well and held up beautifully on a trek to Ciudad Perdida. I am usually an 8 or 10; bought the 10 and it was a great fit.
Wet your pants?
Great fit and comfy shorts if you're gonna ly around on the couch all day. Otherwise, skip buying these shorts. The material shows all your "hot spots" and in the AZ desert we all sweat. Nothing fashionable about looking like you wet your pants.
Fit and durability is great
I've worn these several times for hiking, yard work and everything in between. This is pair number 5 and I have them in all kinds of colors. The 8s were a bit tighter around the leg but the 10s can be a bit big but definitely comfortable.
Comfortable!
I bought these shorts in two colors because they are so comfortable. I only wish the pockets were a little bit deeper.
Not great for outdoors
I bought these for the summer months, but the first day out I noticed that every bit of sweat showed up on the shorts. Pretty embarrassing. I returned them for a refund, since these shorts only do well for those that don't sweat.
Really disappointed in size and quality
I bought these in the hope of wearing them hiking as it gets a little cooler. I had to try on 3 different pairs to find a size that fit. I am normally a 4/5 but ended up with an 8. Then the first time I wore them hiking I broke out in a bad rash on my upper thighs. I have never had a reaction like this before, and I have worn shorts of the same material hiking. I am not sure what caused it but, I won't be wearing them again. Apart from my discomfort, they were very lightweight and quick drying.
Be Careful When Laundering
First of all, I love these shorts. I own several pairs. A word to the wise: I used a top-loading washing machine with an agitator on vacation, and the drawstring came out of two pairs of these shorts. I tried a seamstress' trick to no avail, and finally took them to a tailor to have the drawstrings threaded back in.
