Get the Zipper Version

I've been using this for a few months and was initially satisfied, but now I'm wishing I bought the zipper version instead. The belt generally works great. It holds an iPhone 12 in place really well, and it has a clip that you can put on your key ring so if your keys slip out (which they will) you won't lose them. But the slipping out is the issue. I'm a type 1 diabetic and carry an insulin pump and glucose tabs. The other day my tabs fell out while running and I nearly had a medical emergency because of it! So, I'm now buying the zipper version. This works well for phone-sized items but for smaller items the elastic does not seem to be secure enough.

I received this item as a gift, it's the best gift I've gotten this year! I love my Flipbelt, it's the best accessory I have for working out. Since 90% of my workout clothing does not have pockets, this is great, it keeps me from having to fold over the top half of my bottoms to hold my ipod. It's great for holding my key chain as well, no jingling, no bouncing, everything stays snug against my waist. I bought a large, it's true to size, fits just snug against my waist, no rolling, no movement. I can run, do squats and have no problems with the belt moving or with anything falling out. If you are in dire need of something that will hold what you need to keep with you while you workout, this is the best buy.

Personal Experience

As a runner, I have been looking for a product like this to comfortably run. I tried armbands for my phone, my pockets and fanny packs. the problem with the arm band is, it slides down my arm and adds weight to one side of me making me feel unbalanced. the fanny packs are too bulky and moves around on your hips. I love this belt because it is tight against my hips like the waistband of my pants and the slots on the belt help me easily access my phone in the front . there is also an attachment to clip my keys onto and extra slots around the belt to put money, credit cards, power bars etc. I recommend this product to anyone who exercises, because it makes exercising so much more enjoyable.

Love my new Flip Belt!

Love my New Flipbelt! I got the black one, medium size. My low waist size is 32 and it just perfectly fit! I have an iphone6plus with a big casing, so obviously if I wanna put my phone in the flipbelt, I have to remove the case. Then it will fit but too tight though. Good thing flibelt is flexible. But If you are not comfortable for your iphone 6 plus looking like it's gonna break, then flip belt is not for you. But as for me, I am totally fine with it as long as I put it in the belly area. Overall, this belt serves its purpose and I love it!

Love this belt, a few minor annoyances

Overall I’m super happy with this running belt. I’ve used it 3-4x/week for 8 months, on both short and long runs. My main issue/annoyance is that when worn against certain fabrics the belt moves around a lot. Most of my bottoms I have no issue with, but my winter tights are a smoother texture and the belt slides up the fabric and rotates, needing a lot of adjustments while I’m running. My only other issue is just that it feels very hot in the summer. It’s still the best solution I’ve found to running with my phone/keys/etc, but in the summers it can get soaked with sweat and I end up needing to wash it frequently.

best fitness belt yet!

I have tried several running type belts and this is the best one yet! I have this belt in neon green and I LOVE IT. It holds so much stuff! It holds my iphone 5s, my gu, my credit card and id card (room key too when I'm traveling), my car keys, money, what else do I stuff in there?? a tissue and some lip balm and gum! the uses are endless. I've used this instead of a purse when running to the store with the kids, it's much easier than worrying about my purse all the time. I have a friend that uses this for her insulin pump and loves it! It's a wonderful product, a great material that lasts through many washings and comes in awesome colors!

Must Have Running Accessory

I love this belt. It has been the perfect accessory for our cold winter months. Tucking it inside my jacket was perfect to keep my extra fuel and especially for preventing my phone from freezing. It is perfect for every run as you can carry so much in it if you choose. I will be ordering another fun colour now that the warmer weather is here. I think it is a must have accessory for any runner.

Maybe I'm the Wrong Shape

I was super excited to buy this because of all the great reviews, but in practice, it hasn't worked that great for me. The narrowest part of my waist is right across my belly button, so while I try to fit the FlipBelt around my hips (like it's always pictured), it immediately slides up to around my belly button as soon as I start running. I traded it out for a smaller size so it would fit snugly higher up, but my phone still bounces which causes chafing. I also find it warm and constricting. Works great to hold my phone when I'm using the rowing machine, but I'm still looking for a running belt that works.

Great idea- not very functional

Loved the idea of flipbelt- and planned to use it more for training than races as there is no way to hold water, or my race bib. The first time trying it out, I took it on a short run with just my phone, keys and a chapstick. It worked well but I had difficulty fitting the belt in a way that it wouldn't move. As a result I experienced mild chaffing, but more so was focusing on the belt more than my run. I found it difficult to access my phone (iphone 4s) and it was slightly wet, granted I do sweat heavily. I've found I use this more for trips to the store, or a street fair than running, or activities that involve quite a bit of movement and no sweating.
