Everyday Multi Tool
I've carried this multi tool for about 3 years now and the S2 is by far my favorite multi tool because you get a lot of multi tool in a small package that easily fits in your pocket. The pliers and wire cutters are capable for most tasks I would use a multi tool for and they don't feel cheap. The scissors and blade are accessible when the tool is closed which is a plus. The Phillips and flat head screwdrivers work well and it even has a bottle opener/can opener. My only complaint is that the blade is slightly shorter on the newer model of the S2.
Leatherman Juice S2 Multi-tool Review
Everything you need, nothing you don't. This is by far my favorite and most useful tool. I find myself using it almost every day. Feel naked without it. The quality is great although the blade is difficult to keep a good edge on. The size is perfect for an everyday pocket knife. The weight is good considering the other multi-tools options out there. I'm on my second one now after loosing one to TSA by mistake. I've been using this tool since 2009 and plan to keep doing so for many more years to come.
Everything You Need, Nothing you Don't
This tool is great for its pliers, wire cutters, scissors, knifeblade, can opener and screwdrivers. This makes it perfect for backpacking trips--you can do repairs on gear with the pliers, cut molefoam for blister coverings with the scissors and open canned food with this tool. Want to spread peanut butter or cut cheese? The knife is perfect. One note is that the knife blade folds in and out, and does not lock out when extended. That means it could fold in on you if you're using it upside down or too aggressively. It's good to warn an unsuspecting co-chef that the blade is non-locking if you're sharing this knife in the kitchen. I run a women's backcountry skiing organization called Backcountry Babes, and I pretty much bring this on every backcountry trip I've done in the past 10 years.
Nice little knife
After seeing this recommended in Backpacker magazine on a monthly (?) basis I decided to give it a try. I'm very pleased with it overall. About half the weight of my previous Leatherman with the tools I usually need. I'm not sure why we need three sizes of screwdrivers but otherwise it's a good selection of tools.

I love the tool. It's well built (as most leatherman tools are), it performs the intended tasks with ease. It's a little heavier (very little) than a (normal) pocket knife, but far more useful. The only thing I would change would be to make the scissors accessible without having to move the bottle/can opener. Otherwise, very nice small multi tool.
