  • Fits 54 cans (only); designed to accommodate long-neck bottles
  • Rotomolded polyethylene construction—the same process used to make whitewater kayaks—ensures excellent impact resistance and long-lasting durability
  • Extra-thick walls contain proprietary PermaFrostâ„¢ insulation that is pressure injected, giving the cooler outstanding resistance to outside temperatures

  • The Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee has certified the Tundra 45 as a bear-resistant food container when used with 2 padlocks (not included), 1 on each of the front corners

  • Screw-in gasketed drain plug won't leak; partially unscrew the plug to drain water
  • Haul handles on the ends are designed to make carrying a loaded cooler easier for 2 people; textured grips are secured with marine-grade nylon rope
  • Use the integrated recessed handles when you're carrying the cooler by yourself

Best cooler ever

I'm not sure what I can say about this cooler that has not already been said, but I'll try. First off it's the perfect size for a 2 night camping trip or a day at the park with some friends. It's a little on the heavy side, but as with all gear that is the tradeoff for the near indestructible durability. It holds ice for days, the basket is good for keeping things out of the water and ice, the tiedowns make it easy to secure in the bed of a truck or roof basket and it's the perfect height to sit on. Buy once, cry once is my motto. Just stop thinking about how much it costs and buy one, you won't regret it.

I bought this a few weeks ago online, so I never saw it in person. Had read great reviews. I got it and it did what it was supposed to do...Keep stuff really cold. However, I think their numbering system is very deceiving. The Yeti Roadie 20 is a 20 quart model.... logically, I thought that the Yeti Tundra 45 would be a 45 quart. It is actually only 37.6 quarts. I know this doesn't seem like a big difference, but for $25 more, I could have gotten the Tundra 50 (47.2 quarts). I returned mine and bought and RTIC 45 (that actually holds 45 quarts) for $175. Yeti is a great product but you are certainly paying 50% just for the name.

More than just a cooler!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a full time fishing guide and owner of several Yeti coolers I have come to realize that Yeti coolers are for sure the best built, most durable longest lasting cooler on the market. I have been on Yeti's pro staff since the very beginning and recently purchased the Tundra 45 for a new micro skiff made my East Cape Skiffs. I am using the Yeti on the outside as a seat, a standing platform for sight fishing and mainly a sturdy base that I have attached a carbon marine grab bar (see photos) to to hold on to when running the skiff standing. The interior (see pic) I have the yeti Tundra Divider to separate my drinks and snacks on one side and on the other side gallon tank of gas, rope, life jacket etc. The cage basket hold my keys, phone, and fly box. As you can see the 45 to me is more than just a cooler, it's a tool for me and my business!

Got this for Xmas 2022, I own a couple yeti products already. I’m so happy to get a tundra 45. I’m hoping it will last a long time and get some good use out of it. Summers will never be the same.

Great Car Camping Cooler

I used this cooler to drive across the country, and it kept ice cold for days! We drove for a week and only had to buy ice twice! It is easy to open and close in the back of the car, and it was easy to keep clean and drain. The construction of this Yeti makes it almost indestructible. The basket that sits on the top allows for some things to stay dry but still cold (we used the basket for butter, leftovers, veggies, etc.). The cooler also serves as a great table to cook or eat on, or seat to eat dinner on (big enough for 2 people to sit on!). Although it is expensive, it is definitely worth it. I will be using this cooler for years to come!

Surprised by it's strength!

We bought this just before Thanksgiving and Christmas knowing we needed it for some family trips. Throwing it around or letting it be a makeshift command center for the boys is not even a challenge for this beast as it keeps the inside nice and cold or toasty depending on what we needed to haul. It fits well in the back of a mid sised SUV and still space for our other gear,Love it!

I love my Yeti!

This cooler is something else. I've had ice in mine with beer since the day before the Super Bowl. It still has tones of ice left today. I plan on using this cooler for years to come. It's the only one you need.

Wow so amazed at this cooler!

I was in a serious accident. All packed up, camper hitched and coolers in the back of the truck. We hit soft shoulder and we flipped over and camper and truck was demolished. I was able to salvage some things from both camper and truck but the 3 Yeti coolers I have were totally intact, except for one of them that lost its rubber feet on the bottom, and another we found 3 of the feet so I’m only missing one. Not much made it out of this accident without dents EXCEPT my Yetis, I have 3 and can say all 3 made it through the accident, just dirtier and some scratches, and as I mentioned rubber feet missing off one of them. I hope these scratches or the tumble in the accident didn’t cause it to lose it’s seal and hopefully they keep everything as cold as before! I would definitely recommend any/all Yeti for anyone. I’d really recommend the Tundra Haul as I wish that was out when I bought mine. Much easier to lug around. Oh yes and besides the durability, everything stays cold all weekend, and I use Yeti ice with food and bagged ice for drinks, everything stays cold even if ice melts.

Besides Looking Great - the Yeti is Worth It

I purchased this as soon as the email went out about the unlimited Camo Yeti. It was a Christmas gift for my husband. He was so happy when he opened his gift because he had received the same email, but when he tried to purchase it was sold out. Lol Already he has 3 Yetis, 1 Yeti bag & 6 cups. He right away used it Christmas day for our holiday travel. He packed it up with drinks, ice and his Yeti packs. The drinks were cold all day and night and even the next day and it looked really awesome in the Camo & all the family loved it. Besides it being durable, it chills and definitely is an eye catcher with that Camo look. Yeti is the way to go!

Yeti-tastic!!

This is the first yeti cooler I have ever purchased and I am in love. We used this camping and the drinks were so cold they may have been in our refrigerator. We did prime the cooler to get it chilled before loading it up which was simple and made a huge difference! There was ice in our cooler 3 days after camping and the drinks were still cold after sitting in our house without AC for 4 days in 85/90 degree heat! (It’s a bummer i know) That really says something about the quality! Love the king crab orange color 10/10 if your considering a yeti get a yeti
