Incredible warmth to weigh ratio
I've been wearing this jacket for 1 full winter season now. It fits snugly around my body making it a great companion with a shell or bigger jacket. The sleeves fit well and stay in place even when i'm being active or reaching in awkward directions. Folds up into a small package which is really handy. I am an astronomer and have spent many nights out in the cold with this shell and can definitely vouch for it's ability to keep you warm. With a good base layer or two I can comfortably withstand -5c to -10c temps.
The Delicate Cerium jacket
This Jacket extremely delicate. Worn only during light physical activities such as dog walking. 9 tears in jacket beginning 30 days after purchase. Jacket tears w simple wear. Both feathers and synthetic padding material have leaked! I have patched and now tiny zipper broke. Stylish looking jacket and probably great for the NYC subway rides.. but this jacket will absolutely not keep you warm despite the misleading 850 goose down fill. love the look of the jacket but perhaps my worst purchase decision ever.

Poor quality!!!
The only reason that I gave 1 star for this product was for its look and warmth. Yeah, it looks great and truly light weight down jacket and it does work to keep you warm. HOWEVER, the quality does not seem to be even close to ANY of Arcteryx's products. I own several jackets from Arcteryx, none of them is poorly made like this one. If you put it up and look at this Jacket through a light you can see big holes in seam and the feathers seep out from all over the body! I got this one this December and only wear it in the city. I definitely concern about its durability and would not recommend it to anyone who needs it for outdoors.
Hello Ralph, Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us.  Our customers will rely on these reviews, so we appreciate it when others share their experiences with us. We're genuinely sorry to hear that you're disappointed in the current Cerium LT Hoody. The Cerium LT Hoody is a lightweight, versatile down hoody that provides exceptional warmth for its weight. It has been designed as a minimal, lightweight mid-layer or stand-alone piece on cool, dry days. Down leakage is normal in new down garments. If you are experiencing an excessive amount of down leakage though, please reach out via our Product service Request Form found here: https://arcteryx.com/ca/en/help/product-service/service-request/  Many times our opinions on gear can come down to personal preferences. Down is coming out from everywhere
I recently got this jacket a few months ago but have been very disappointed with this jacket. The Goose down is coming out from all directions, I understand that the down comes out a little bit in this jacket. But at the rate it is coming out in this jacket, I feel that within few months I will not have much down left in the jacket to keep me insulated. Also, it looks very awkward when you see white stuff protruding from your jacket everytime. This is a fairly expensive jacket so you would imagine a high quality material for this jacket and low maintenance but that is not the case. I should have just bought an Eddie Bauer jacket with 1/4 the cost. I would never recommend this jacket. Please note that I have a few other items from Arc'teryx but never had any such issue.
This is Tessa from Customer Service here to help. We're genuinely sorry to hear about your experience with the Cerium LT Hoody. Feedback is very valuable for other customers as well as our designers so we thank you for taking a moment to share yours. As you noted, it is considered normal for down garments to lose some down and feathers throughout their lifetime. Down loss generally occurs when the sharp needle-like quill of a feather pierces through the fabric or makes its way into an existing needle hole. The losses generally occur at seams through needle holes produced during the sewing of the garment, but can also happen right through the face fabric itself. Losses tend to occur more often on a brand new garment and should become less frequent after some use. Should you feel that the down loss is excessive or affecting the performance of your garment, please take care to complete our product service form below: https://www.arcteryx.com/dk/en/help/product-service/service-request If you have any further questions, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-866-458-2473 (available Monday-Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM PST).
Super couleur
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Je l’ai achetée en 2020 je l’aime toujours autant. Chaude et légère elle ne tient que peu de place dans mon sac.
Goose Goose Goose
I purchased this jacket online last June, 2018. I wear this jacket a couple of times a week for city use. I have nothing but issues with the goose feather coming out from everywhere. I watched some Youtube videos on how to push them back in but I got so fed up with doing it every other week. My right arm now has a tiny hole with feathers coming out. They need to use another outer material to keep feathers from coming out.

Great insulating piece
This was the perfect hoody for summiting Mt Rainier this last summer. It was a warm climb, but this was perfect for rest breaks and our time at the summit. I stuffed the pockets with snacks and my water bottle so it was all handy whenever I threw it on during breaks. The fit, materials, and warmth-to-weight ratio are fantastic. I use it now for cold nights at work that can involve either high output activities or sitting motionless for long periods of time. This came in handy last week during such an event and helped make a miserable night less miserable. Would absolutely recommend!
Great down jacket
I got this jacket cause I finally needed a down jacket after only having synthetic. I got it right before a climbing trip to Colorado and Wyoming. It kept me warm the whole time. I slept in this jacket on cold nights, one of which we woke up to 28° and snow still cozy. Not the warmest jacket they have but good for my purposes and for the sake of portability as it packs down small into a compression sack. It is also more durable than I thought. I was on a climb and was hesitant to wear it for fear of ripping, but it was way too cold and windy to care. I took it up, and the last pitch was a squeeze chimney. I compressed my back and my arms against the rock and did what I had to do to get up, and the jacket held up great.
Great jacket, terrible zipper
I love Arc'teryx, have a lot of their gear, and will be buying more in the future. I also love my Cerium LT and it has been my preferred mid-layer this winter (usually too warm out to wear my Cerium SV). However, the dainty zipper on this jacket is very easy to mess up when unzipping. Unless I'm very careful and slowly ease the zipper down to the end as I unzip, the zipper mechanism will come off its track, or the two sides will come 'unpaired'. I understand that Arc'teryx was going for lightweight, but this particular compromise isn't worth it. For a small amount of additional weight, a more robust zipper like on the Cerium SV would be welcomed.
So cozy!
I needed a puff for everyday use during the Fall/winter months, but also a versatile layer for winter camping - this delivered! I used this during a backcountry winter camping trip in Squamish and this thing kept me warm and dry all day/night. I slept with it on and it was like an extra sleeping bag, the hood really helped lock my body heat in. It's such a lightweight coat that can pack quite small so I appreciate that for camping and going on trips. The length at the waist is a bit too short imo and I'm about 5'6". But that's really my own issue with this coat.
