Mild orthostatic intolerance relief
Put these on and stood up. No lightheadedness, no heartrate spike. Actually had to sit down and stand up a couple more times to make myself believe that had just happened--it had been a long time. If you, like me, likely have some kind of undiagnosed orthostatic intolerance (or if you have a diagnosis), give these a try. They're not going to fix your chronic illness, but they might alleviate some symptoms. And they're comfy and cool-looking while they're at it. They have yet to stand the test of time, as this is a "blown away by first impression" review, but they feel well-made and like they should last awhile.
Great for hiking, even on a hot day
Compression socks are a must for me on a daily basis given my history of sprains, etc. I was looking for a good compression sock to use for hiking. I wore these for a long day of hiking with a good bit of altitude gain. It was hot out and I thought these might be too warm - but they were just fine. My feet hurt but it was not from the socks or shoes, just from the actual hike. I felt like I might have a blister, but when I took the socks off, there was no blister. There was minimal swelling. These run true to size and cover your entire calf up to the knee (and I'm 5'10"). I will use them for hiking, travel and probably for just plain every day use. These are a good purchase for the price.
Great socks! No toe smushing!
Really excellent compression socks. Soft, not scratchy or ridgid and plastic-y. AND they don't smush your toes all together! I'm a nurse, and wear them for work all day. They are a bit heavier than the trouser sock style compression socks I had been wearing. I really like the extra padding! I have narrow feet anyway, and with this weight of sock I can still wear clogs and not be running out of my shoes! Also after years of wearing OTHER compression socks, I started to get a bunion from my toes being squeezed together (even though I wear wide-toebox shoes). I had to get rid of a lot of very pricey socks! These ones pass the test though! No toe smushing! These are probably the only brand I will wear going forwards.
Great, basic compression socks, in a fun color
These socks were recommended by a friend, so I decided to try them. They are EXACTLY what I was looking for. I wear a size 8 shoe, so went with the M/L, and the fit is perfect. Pick-up at the store near me was incredibly easy.
Good support; not too tight
Have had these 2 months. They fit well, no bulky or rubbing sores on my feet. I use them with different styles of shoes without any issues. I tend to run cold and my feet do get cold when outside for 30-60 min. I wore them on a plane and a road trip and they kept me comfy. They give good support without being uncomfortablely tight. I washed them a few times- machine wash on cold gentle cycle and hang dry. So far no shrinkage or pilling and they still look new. Still holding their shape.
Compression Socks
I went to Thailand and my ankles were badly swollen by the end of the flight, so I bought these compression socks to help with swelling while flying from SFO to SYD Australia and they did their job! My ankles were not swollen when I arrived in SYD. I would recommend these socks! Very comfortable.
Comfortable, sturdy, effective compression
We have used these socks for several years to prevent leg swelling from varicose veins. They are very effective at preventing swelling, they are comfortable all day long, stay up, and they are very sturdy. We've used them when at work, and, in our free time while mountain hiking, running, and cross-country skiing. They're good in all those settings. Various Sockwell "models" of socks are made from different ratios of material and feel different. We have found that these "circulators" are our favorite.
best compression socks ever
I bought these primarily for work. I wear them with my danskos for 12 hour shifts on my feet and my feet don’t stink or get too hot! My legs feel great while wearing them (bonus, they’re great after a workout too). These socks are so much better than the cheap “compression” socks from Amazon. The compression level is accurate and the quality is amazing! I wear the same three pairs for my three shifts every week and have had them for years without any holes!
Bought some for work/will buy more for running
As a professional courier and blood clot survivor, these socks are perfect for me. They look good and provide the right amount of compression during my work hours. I'm also an ultra runner, so I'll definitely be buying more of these. Had bought other Sockwells in the past, but not the compression socks. Definitely recommend them!
Comfortable compression
I got this for a road trip where we were in the car for most of the day. First time using compression socks, so I have nothing to compare them to, but I was comfortable despite sitting for a couple hours at a time. They were surprisingly comfortable given they have less cushion than my usual socks. I felt that my feet had wiggle room (Size 8, bought M/L). Will def continue to use these on any trip I can.
