REI Co-op  Midweight Long Underwear Half-Zip Shirt - Men's

I am 6'3" and 180 lbs. I usually wear a large and I originally ordered that size. While it fit, it seemed very tight in the chest area so I returned it for an XL which fit better for me. The build quality is good and when I returned my original large size at the store I had a chance to compare to UA and Patagonia brands and I think these compared really well. Especially for the price. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it's not cold enough to test them out. I am not concerned though as I think they are going to be a solid mid weight layer for me for years to come.

Picked this up at the flagship REI store while on holiday in San Francisco and couldn't be happier. It's surprisingly lightweight, durable, warm for it's weight and wearable and pairable with so many things. I've put this with shorts, jeans, and Chinos. It's been a joy to wear working out on a cool morning at an outdoor 'bootcamp', warming up for yoga, biking, and even to work on casual Fridays. The length seems perfect to me - 6'0 male at 180lbs. Came online to get an additional color or two and decided to leave this review. Love it!

Excellent shirt - I bought 2! It fits my body type really nicely. The medium fit is perfect for me. I'm 5'8 160 lbs. very light and comfortable especially on long haul flights and travel. Great odor control and easy to wash and dry. I hope REI keeps making this product and that they sell it in other colors like black, purple and metallic gray.

I wear this thing as often as I can. I lounge around the house in it, I go to the mall in it, and I have yet to take it hiking. But the half zip is extremely useful, and just flipping the caller up or unzipping it halfway or all the way makes a world of difference in temperature. The seams are flat and prevents chafing. It's extremely comfortable and soft. This is my first REI brand product and I will definitely be getting more because of it. It's too bad that this shirt is on clothes out, but because of it I know that I can trust other clothes from REI.

love the shirt, except it is way too short. returning it. it claims it has a long tail to stay tucked in...not so, only 6 feet tall and the XL size won't stay tucked in even with no activity. buy the tall version instead.

I was disappointed to discover that, although this top is listed as having 4-way stretch material, that is not correct. It is a standard polyester long underwear top. In the past, REI has offered true 4-way stretch mid-weight tops; I would like to see them offered again.

Nice shirt fits will around chest and shoulders, however to short in the sleeves and waist, shrunk on first wash, I went with a medium shouldve gone with large.

The sleeves on this thing are incredibly short. I bought the large (I'm generally in-between M and L) and the sleeves only covered about 3/4 of my arms. Other than that the item is fine, but I would be surprised if it fits most people.

I went to the REI store today to buy a few but found the REI logo to be an annoyance. I wear these shirts alone in winter for casual wear. I never buy or wear clothing with logos or branding that obvious.

I own 4 of these now and love them! They look great, but "mid-weight" is a bit of a misnomer because these are WARM! They've also proven to be very durable. I love that they're made in USA!
