Stays on with long hair

This swim camp works very well for long hair. I have had trouble keeping other swim caps on because my hair doesn't fit in the cap. I was constantly pulling the cap down, but this cap has a lot of extra room and I don't have to touch it once it's on. I wind my hair up into a knot near the top of my head and there is more then enough space to fit the cap over my hair. My hair is wet after swimming laps for an hour, but I never expected my hair to be dry. Swim caps are made to keep hair out of your eyes while swimming and to make your head more streamline, they are not made to keep your hair dry. Water will leak in if you put your head under water. If you want to keep your hair dry, don't go swimming.

Too small for average head

I bought this because I have long hair and need space inside the cap to put it all. I have an average, if not smaller, head for an adult female and this cap was extremely small to the extent that it was quite uncomfortable. I felt as if it were squeezing my brain out from the top down. I returned it and bought a suitable replacement elsewhere.

Ripped after second time

I purchased this cap online about a month ago, and wore it once. It was fine. But the second time I tried to get it on, it ripped! :-( Luckily, I had my other TYR cap -- which I've had since October, and it's still going strong! I got another one in the case that one ripped, and because I really liked the blue color of this cap. REI says I can bring the cap to my local REI store and get it replaced/refunded, so I'm grateful for that.

Great Swimcap

I bought this cap two weeks ago to uses for ocean swimming & lap swimming & it works great! There is enough room for my long hair, and I'm able to get the swim cap to seal. It keeps water out of my ears, and helps me stay warm during colder ocean swims.

My favorite swim cap

I've used this cap 5 days/ week for 6 months and am just now buying another because of a rip. It's my favorite by far for my thick hair and med-large size head. It won't keep your hair totally dry, but that's not what most swim caps are made to do.

Works great for Long Hair

I purchased this for use during my practice swimming and it fits great for anyone with long hair. I have long-curly hair and after putting my hair into a bun, I simply roll my cap on and it fits great. This cap exhibits fantastic quality!

Slid off while swimming

I was excited to try this cap out as I got my hair done in the morning and went swimming after. Unfortunately the cap slid up as I was swimming and water seeped in the cap.

Does NOT Perform

Sadly, this cap doesn’t live up to what it claims. Bought this for a preteen with simple braids. No bulk was in the hair but we go the long hair style to be safe. Leaker immediately around the ears despite being hard to get on and all her hair became wet.

Helps a Little

The cap is difficult to pull on, and my hair still gets wet but not as wet as with no cap. Unfortunately, the part that covers my ears starts to move up gradually while I swim (I had returned the regular size and bought this one to accommodate my not-so-long hair. My head is not huge, just average size.) I ended up ordering a cap with a strap from an online retailer. We'll see if that one stays put better.
