Needs a strike plate

After one placement the tops of my pickets were bent and sharp. Yates and MSR have a bit of steel on top to prevent that. I'm disappointed because I liked the design and they worked well but they need to be more durable.

Consumable Equipment

Works well as an anchor, but after several uses the ends will have taken a beating.

Good Product, does what it should.

This snow picket works as a snow picket should. It's a difficult thing to mess up. After all, it's just a piece of aluminum with holes. That said, it is well made and does it's job.

It holds well but the head deforms easily.

It holds well, but the head deforms quite easily if you are banging on in it to place vertically. If you aren't banging hard on it then the snow probably isn't hard enough for the picket to hold a fall.
