Great sandal, great price with 20% off
This is a classic style for Birkenstock so you can't go wrong. The color for the Biscay Bay is not as pictured though. The true color is a darker teal. I bought them for the color and I may exchange them. The oiled style does show scratching but that is part of the look, I suppose. I shopped around and no one online could beat the REI price with the 20% member discount.
Must have shoes!!!
I have owed my birks for over a decade, and I am a runner who needs support and comfort in my non-running time. My daughter found herself always "borrowing" my birks, which can be a problem. She decided she needed a pair of her own, and now she lives in them. She absolutely loves them, and she is very fashion conscious. No shoe is even close to it equal.
