So good had to go back for more!
I owned my first pair of Chaco zx/2 sandals for 4 years and the foot bed finally cracked after hard wear! They took me hiking in Malawi,Africa, back country Israel, Ireland, and many, many long hikes all over the USA. Those were my main hiking shoes and my everyday shoes off the clock! They were the uni-weep soles. I loved them. These are the Yampa soles. They have the same great footbed for my high arches, breathable and well feel great! The soles may be a bit light for MY usual use but for the normal wear of every day they are still great! And the REI sales make them a price that can't be beat! Highly recommend them!
comfortable - but needs adjusting
Everyone raves about Chaco, so I had to get these to try out - especially when they are 1/2 off. I like the arch support and comfort. The only con is adjusting the straps to get the fit just right. I am still working on it. The straps all adjust so any fit can be accommodated. It just takes a little time to find that "sweet spot"
Comfy, but needs readjusting frequently.
I brought these sandals to Hawaii and used them to walk around the island. They are very comfortable once they are adjusted, but need readjustment once removed. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Built very well and look like they'll last for years. Great arch support for my high arches, nothing rubs or chafes.
I love Chacos
I own 5 Chacos - love their look and they last and are durable. I am hard on shoes. This pair however appear a slight smaller. maybe need to work on the strap adjustments
