Mega disappointment
Over my last decade of being a loyal customer and Fox advocate, these shorts have been the most disappointing purchase I have ever made. Within a little over 1 year of wearing them, I've had two pairs tear on me in very odd ways. The textile seems oddly weak and prone to ripping, which I find disappointing considering their intended use. I've also just noticed that the chamois has started to unstitch from the liner as well. The new design, that does not include belt loops, renders them virtually useless. Expecting any semi-serious rider to solely rely on a small velcro strap at the back of the shorts for support is a little absurd. They run pretty big, and I constantly need to pull them up mid-ride, which gets to be tedious. I've resorted to using clips on the useless velcro straps, to prevent them from coming apart. I'm highly displeased with these new changes Fox has made to their shorts, and personally discourage any xc/enduro riders from purchasing them. They're adequate for mild off-road biking at best. Sadly won't be buying Fox products any longer, big let down.
Nice Material, Odd Sizing
These shorts have a great outer material, breathable and seems like it will hold up well to the scrapes and abuse of mountain biking. My waist measures just under 33" so I ordered both the 32 & 34. The 32 fit my waist but not my thighs and felt like I would rip them getting on my bike. The 34s were too large, I don't trust the small velcro straps to hold these on... They're going back and I'll keep looking. FOX - Add Belt Loops Please!
Ride in comfort
I have been riding in 100 degree heat and the shorts feel great, I am not overheating. Even after washing several times they continue to hold up and not deteriorate.
