Best Use Hiking
Rated 4 out of 5 by from The book that got me hiking Pros: I grabbed this book as recommended (by an informed REI employee) when I first moved to Colorado. Being new to hiking I wanted something simple. This book tells you what, where, and what to expect. The directions to the trail heads are especially helpful. Cons: I wish it would include more nearby hikes or extensions. Occasionally I will get to a trail head and find another trail looks more interesting. (Not generally a bad thing because I am there to hike anyway, I just like to be prepared)
