I have this pack and my hubby has the men's version. The packs are comfortable and distribute weight well. I really like the lumbar pack feature too. We took new hikers out last weekend and we were able not only to carry some of our friend's gear in addition to our own, but my husband was able to strap our friend's pack to the back of his. The pack is easy to adjust and there are plenty of straps to add gear to the outside of the pack. My only dislike of the pack is that there aren't small zipper pockets on the hip-belt (or anywhere on the pack. Otherwise it's great.
