I just spent seven days paddling the Bowron Lake circuit in British Columbia. Never once had to think about my rear end . . . worked great.
Worth every penny!
My kayaking trips are rarely less than 10 hours, but after the 2nd or 3rd hour my tailbone begins to hurt and will stay sore for days. And then I bought the Skwoosh Paddling Cushion and it has changed everything. I was skeptical because it was thinner than I thought it would be, but I recently kayaked for three days in a row, 10 hours each day and my tailbone not once hurt. It technically has a front and back but can comfortably be used either way. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who experiences discomfort during kayaking or canoeing trips
Last a lot longer out there...
I love this cushion. I was so uncomfortable before, and the leg of my bathing suit would drill into me enough to cause skin irritation. It's much better with this cushion. My only problem was that I kayaked in shallow water without tethering it (it has a loop for that), and the cushion floated off and/or sunk before I could rescue it. No question about going without it though, I immediately bought another one.
It really works and well.
My kayak always left me with a sore bottom after a few hours of paddling. I decided to give this cushion a try. Wow what a difference, I was able to paddle all day without doing the normal shuffle routine in my kayak.
Easy on the tush
I got this for kayaking and it works very well, even after 4-5 hours in the kayak. Another good reason for using in on the water is that it floats. I had to find out the hard way, but I didn't lose it.
Able to spend more time on the water!
I love kayaking but found that after a couple of hours, the seat was so uncomfortable. This little pad has made such a difference. I am able to sit more comfortably and stay out on the water much longer. Thank you for such a great product!
Does the job!
Got this for my wife, who complained that her derrière was often sore after our morning kayak puddle. She's only used it once, so far, but says it is very comfortable, doesn't shift while paddling, and makes paddling much more enjoyable.
Paddling Longer
The Skwoosh provided me with just the right amount of cushioning without the height of other seat cushions. It does't move or slide around and was a good addition to my kayak.
Adds Alot f Comfort to a Kayak Seat
A great purchase. Added so much comfort to my Aire kayak/duckie seat. However I wish it had a more secure loopand that I could attach it to my kayak, so when I go through whitewater, it doesn't float down the river without me.
Helpful but no panacea
I find if I kayak with this cushion, it reduces soreness to my lower back and sacrum significantly after an hour of kayaking as I start to feel very comfortable without it after an hour. However after three hours, wished that the cushion is more supportive.
