Perfect for global warming winters!
These gloves are perfect for temperatures down to 15 degrees. They're warm and windproof and keep out basic rain and snow. They also warm up to your hands quickly if you leave them in the car. The gloves also look clean and smart in all situations -- with a nice jacket, shoveling snow or skiing in warmer weathers. The inside seam is a little strange at first, but you don't realize it after a few wears. These gloves got me through the '06 and '07 Boston winters. (maybe I cheated and used a liner glove for a week or two). My wife and all her friends have the women's version.
Simple Great Gloves
These are my backpacking standard. I love pulling these out to cut the chill on a crisp morning - or taking them for a run in the park before work in the winter. They aren't thick or bulky so they stuff easily in a pocket. But, with that, they aren't super warm. They break the wind OK, but you'll want a shell if it get's really windy. I've use the ones I have regularly for 3 years and just recently a seem blew out in one of the fingers - which seems like regular wear and tear to me.
Great lightweight gloves
I've only used these a few times yet in high altitude summer conditions. They performed without flaw. Love the grip.
