Sizing Notes

Select the letter that matches your shoe size range. Letters on all Superfeet products represent heel cup width. For Superfeet insoles to work properly, your heels must be "in" the heel cup entirely, not "on" the heel cup on either side of foot. Stand on a pair of Superfeet in the letter that corresponds closest to your shoe size making sure your heel fits nice and snug "in" the heel cup. If that heel cup is too small, select the next letter size up. After you find your perfect heel-cup fit, simply trim the excess foam (using the sock liner from any of your shoes as a guide) and insert the new trimmed insoles into your shoes (removing the sock liners first).

The Superfeet standard

I've tried multiple colors of Superfeet, and in my opinion these are the "standard" set of insoles they offer. Try these before going with anything else. They don't take up as much volume as the greens, and also have a lower arch. I used them in multiple pairs of shoes, including ski boots. One thing I've found is that I have to buy the largest size of these and trim the forefoot to fit the shoe. This is even though I have size 11.5-12 feet, I have to buy the largest size of these which is G and is meant to fit size 13+. The reason is that the "proper" size of these Superfeet have the arch too far back, which leads to pain for me. With the largest size, the arch is perfectly aligned with mine. This isn't really a hassle at all, but just a note for fitment.

I have plantar faciitis. After reading the reviews for this product, I ordered a pair. Unfortunately, these inserts did not help me at all. The arch was located too far back (toward the heel) and did not offer support where I needed it. I ended up ordering custom orthotics. If I had not ordered the superfeet, I would have wondered whether I might have gotten by without the orthotics, so I'm not sorry that I tried, but these were not a good solution for my feet. If you don't have trouble finding shoes that fit, these might work for you, but if you do have trouble finding shoes, and are haveing trouble with PF, I'd go for the custom orthotics and not waste money on Superfeet.

Do yourself a favor . . .

If you're reading reviews on arch supports chances are you actually need them. If that's the case you've found the right one. Trust me, I've tried them all. I never thought about stuff like this until I got into distance running, suddenly my feet are screaming at me and I don't want to cut back on the mileage. I've got flat feet, so the physical therapist recommended these guys. They're fantastic. Not only is the foot pain gone, all the other aches and pains that come with running (and getting older) are gone too. Back, hips, knees, you name it. Just bought my wife a pair and she loves them too. Try for yourself. Trust me.

Helped me hike Kilimanjaro

I over-trained for my Kilimanjaro hike and had plantar fasciitis. I was so nervous before the hike because my feet were hurting just from walking from one end of the airport to the other. Even standing in my hiking shoes hurt. Luckily I packed my superfeet in my luggage just in case. Before the hike, I was only using them in my casual shoes and never trained with the superfeet. I put the superfeet into my hiking boots on Day 1 though, and my feet immediately felt better. It took about a day or two of hiking for my feet to adjust, but after 8 days (43miles total), I can definitely say that the superfeet helped me get to the top of Kilimanjaro.

Excellent product

I've used these in all colors, from snowboard boots to casual shoes. The main trick I learned from a boot fitter guru, is to place the footbed against your fooot before hand. You wear an 8? Well, maybe the size sold as an "8" wont be correct for YOUR foot. The placement of the arch is critical (duh). I wear an 8 size shoe mostly. But I need to purchase the one for a much larger foot to get the arch into the right place. So take your stinky boot off right there in the store, and start offering up different sizes to your foot. You may be surprised that you need a different size.

Great Arch Support in my Hiking Shoes

I tried the Orange, Green, and Copper Superfeet in my hiking shoes and the Blue was the best for my horrible Flat Feet. The other colors did not work well for me. Blue provided the needed arch support that the insoles that came with the shoes did not. They prevent my foot from moving around in the shoe and prevents arch pain caused by not enough support. Wish that I had tried them a long time ago. They are very comfortable and this is my second Superfeet pair. I use the Yellow version in my cycling cleats for top performance.

The best insole for narrow, flat feet I have found

If you have flat feet and a narrow shoe, this are the insoles for you! I have been wearing them for 6 years now and replace them every 6 months or so. They have changed my life. I was bit by a dog on my knee when I was about 20 years old, and without wearing these insoles I will have constant inflammation on that knee. By wearing them, it straightens out everything and the inflammation is not longer a factor at all. Total game changer. Truly amazing how given the right arch support for your feet can change everything about how you function physically.

Perfect insole for Jim Green African Ranger Boots

I got a pair of Jim Green African Ranger boots from South Africa which I had been eyeballing for some time. The only thing I did not like was the stock insoles because I have medium-high arches. I had a hard time finding a match because the stock insole was 2.3mm in the forefoot. It had a plastic orthotic with alomost no arch but similar to what is in Superfeet Blue. I am very happy with the Superfeet Blue in my new boots. They are very close in thickness to the stock insole but have a medium 25mm arch and 3mm forefoot cushioning. They were a big improvement over the stock insoles because I suffer from Plantar Facitis and heel spurs. I would recommend these. I bought them in store so I could compare the stock Insole and get guidance from the folks in the forward dept who are always helpful. This time Was no different and they helped me confirm I had a good match for wise.

Great product

I've been using the green version for years in running and hiking shoes. Thought I'd give the blues a try in my SIDI bike shoes, which weren't quite fitting right. They did the trick, giving support where needed without using up too much volume in the shoe. That equals less pinching and pain and more comfort on longer rides.

Painful

I have owned Superfeet Green insoles, so I knew there would be a breaking in period and allowed for that with these Blue insoles, too. But they didn't break in. Ever. In fact, my feet have been in increasing pain for a few weeks. Tonight, I have been having problems putting weight on my feet which led me to write this review. I stay on my feet for nearly a 10-hour shift but can't stand it any longer and have never dealt with foot pain before. The Blues just aren't worth it!
