Good in rough seas
This is a great skirt for all recreational and ocean kayaks. The skirt tunnel is adjustable so when its hot you can loosen the fit, like wise in reverse. The neoprene is waterproof and will keep out the water. This skirt did great in choppy 5ft seas near the coast. In the cooler months it will keep you warm. This skirt is not reccomended for use in any sort of white water, heavy storms and/or heavy surf zones, the nylon top will repel water but won't keep it out in extreme/heavy conditions. (Get a full neoprene tunnel/skirt combo that has a tight fit.)
Great spray skirt
I have had this skirt for a few months and have really enjoyed it. I find no issues like in other reviews where the skirt does not fit the kayak which in my case is a Delta 15.5 expedition model. After letting the skirt stay on the kayak for a week, I had no issues getting the skirt on or off the kayak. In choppy lakes with 3-4 foot swells, the skirt does a good job of keeping the water out of the boat. I highly recommend this skirt.
Overall good skirt with one problem...
This is a great basic spray skirt with one big problem. I bought the size recommended for my particular kayak. It goes on easily. Problem is when I flip, can't recover and have to perform a wet-exit...this skirt requires some strength and patience to pull off. I first have to pull out and then up for it to come off, so I don't recommend for anyone who will panic when they flip.
