Foot shifts side-to-side too much, even when laced up tight and sized correctly. Not sure if it is the upper material or a sole that doesn’t quite hold the foot in. In an 11 mile run I almost rolled my ankles about 10 times and that is not usual. May ask for a return after one more test.
Cool concept but it's a little too lightweight for my taste and the soles are more slippery than normal. I went on a morning run after the rain and felt like I was almost slipping with every step.
I had high hopes for these shoes, but they sorely disappointed me. I am a natural size 11, but I only run trail and I almost always get an 11.5 for extra toe space for hill bombing. These shoes in an 11.5 were probably the weirdest feeling things I have ever put on my feet. Way too short, the toebox weirdly flat - It was actually squeezing my toes at the tip of them, and the shoes have a comically aggressive rocker (for only being 6mm drop, they felt like Aladdin shoes), and the end result was I felt like I was wearing some weird petrified banana shoes that were a full size too small. To me this is absolutely crazy! Craft makes some of the best gear out there, especially cold weather gear, but maybe - I don't know. I have no idea who designed these unless it was an angry footless shoe designer, who maybe just needs the appearance of footwear so they can go out in public but is not constrained by the shape, feel, form, of functional footwear you actually run in. This is clearly the most likely option for how these monstrosities occurred to begin with. But I wouldn't wear their shoes if you paid me to do it. My recommendation on these is to stay away from them unless you want to use them as a self-defense weapon, like a boomerang or something. 0/10.
