This pack has NO laptop sleeve. It has padding in the back but ZERO sleeve for a laptop. There is a tiny compartment at the top (large enough for a pen and a pack of gum) and a small pouch in the front, large enough for MAYBE a journal and your wallet). The entire pack is a medium sized pouch, with padding for your back (which they probably thought qualified as a laptop sleeve). You can fit a pair of jeans, a sweatshirt, and maybe a lunch in the largest compartment. You will not fit a change of clothes AND shoes. I bought this pack for walking into town to get groceries and I cannot do that. There's not space! I fit a 4oz clamshell of lettuce, a european cucumber, two tomatoes, a can of Yerba Madre, and four Yukon gold potatoes. The end. The size and utility of this pack is really misleading.
