Amazing bass and clarity
This is the best JBL I’ve had. I have two earlier edition I’ve always been happy with the durability sound of early versions, but this is wonderful. I am using it in conjunction with my iPhone recorder. I can play a song and it sounds just like another Guitar in the room and then I can accompany it with a solo or with another instrument and it’s a great learning tool.. It also fills my cabin up with sound using the Bluetooth. I am so happy I chose JBL and have ben sticking with them for over 12 years now.
my favorite brand of speaker.
This is like the 3rd JBL “charge” line of Bluetooth speaker. Had one for three or so years on my tool box at work in hope of use when on outings. Needless to say it never made it out of my tool box. But after three years and constantly plugged in, the battery was trashed. Picked up one of these last November in 2024, had it for a few months before giving it away to a group of folks at a hostel in Mexico City before deciding to hike the Appalachian Trail. Picked this one up a few days ago due to liking to have decent audio when putting around the house or music when I am chilling outside. I like this version of JBL due to being able to charge a device from it if absolutely necessary, however I do not use it as a portable power bank. Having good tunes is priority over having a charged phone. The only thing I might charge would be a headlamp because that’s survival equipment.

This speaker is amazing. It has a great sound. The rubber edges are great since I am the clumsiest person ever. I love the handle although I think there could have been a few other designs. Past designs were smaller and still sounded great so I have mixed feelings about the size
This little speaker packs a punch.
Loud with a full rich sound for such a small package. There's a large window from about 25-75% volume where it sounds amazing. Anything more just isn't necessary. It doesn't sound bad ... it's just really loud. If you need to fill a space at that volume, grab a powered speaker.

so far this little speaker lives up to the hype !! the sound and clarity is awesome !! i can’t wait till summer time and late night bonfires !! this will be the perfect addition
