Inconsistent sizing
I purchased this last month and am disappointed by the fit. The quality seems good, but the fit is so off. The medium was SO large. The sleeves hang over my hands and the body/trunk portion is incredibly large. I purchased a small jacket from OR just a few weeks prior, and that was too small. I am so disappointed with the inconsistent sizing. Outdoor Research used to make my absolute favorite jackets but now I am zero for two.
My Favorite Jacket I Own!
I love this jacket so much! It is so durable and water resistant...and yet it is comfortable and flattering at the same time. Perfect for the northwest climate I live in! If anybody asked my for a recommendation for a good jacket, I would say this one! I also had amazing customer service and super quick shipping:-) All good things wrapped up in one jacket!
Odd fit, sleeves unusually long
The body of the jacket was perfect. However, the sleeves were unusually long, without cuffs or elastic and I would have needed to roll them up. For reference I am 5'8" and 155 pounds, I have long arms for my height. Buyer beware, notice the model in the photo of the mint green jacket - the sleeves really are that long.
The jacket is warm and well insulated, but I don’t like the thickness and feel of the thumb loop. It’s not necessary to have one on this jacket. Also, it’s a little too fitted in the arms to have more than a thin layer under it.
A solid jacket for active pursuits
Overall a very nice jacket. It is a snug fit, so not much room for layering. The softshell sides and cuffs allow the jacket a good range of motion. The thumbholes are a nice touch to keep the sleeves from riding up.
Great Spring/Fall Jacket
This jacket is great for cool evenings and that early spring into late fall weather. Its very comfortable and conforms to your body very well.
very practical light weight
The style is amazing and it is so comfortable and warm. I prefer this over a huge bulky jacket when i am going to work.
