nice tights

I purchased these after a hike in the Yukon where I ended up stripping off my hiking pants down to my baselayer bottoms as it was much warmer than expected. I thought, why not use a legging as my baselayer and then if I need to strip off, I am not hiking through bramble in my woolies? I was worried as there is no drawstring at the waist, I wondered if the weight of my phone in the side pocket would pull the pants down over time. The good news is that the pants stay up very well. They are very breathable and I consider they will make great warm weather bottoms. The ankle opening is quite narrow - put your socks on after! True to the sizing guide.

Unexpectedly awesome

I really didn't know what to expect from this product but I have a pair of ferrosi leggings that I love so I thought I'd give these a try. I'm glad I did! I bought the blue and aside from the fact they just look really cool with the two tone color, they fit and feel great. And the thoughtful extras - like deep side pockets - are greatly appreciated. I bought these at the end of the winter season and was sad that they might sit in a drawer for months before it was again cold enough to use them, but then we had one of those raw April days in the Midwest. These tights were so perfect. I'll be buying a second pair.

Amazing pockets!

I was provided this model of Ferrosi Hybrid leggings to replace a previous pair (the warranty issue was such a complete fluke that really, I should have bought a lottery ticket because the chances of it happening in another pair of leggings would be next to impossible). So A. GREAT work OR for standing behind your products and B. They were replaced by a newer model. Turns out, this is a super cute legging. I love the pockets - they are placed well, good size, extremely functional. I am not sure if I am entirely sold on the two tone black color. When I pulled them out of the wash the back almost looked navy blue- but it could have been the lighting. I have a weird hangup with black and navy together. But really, these are super functional for outdoor pursuits, I am very happy with them.

Good with one exception

Got these leggings because I love my ferrosi pants and was curious about the fabric in a legging version. The fit is true to size (I'm 5'4", 120 lbs and got a size small, which I typically wear in OR), and they're very flattering. My one complaint is that the waist doesn't stretch!! Getting it over my hips is a pain, but once the pants are on they're comfortable. I likely won't wear them on trail as much since it would be a pain to use the bathroom if I have to fight the waistband.

Not sure...

I was excited to try these pants, but when they arrived I couldn't really figure out why they were designed the way they were - the stretch part was on the front of the leg, and the wind/water resistant part was on the back. It was a strange design and I didn't love the feel of the super thin, wind panels on the back of my legs and behind my knees, so they've been returned.

Could Not Get on over my high arches

Love Ferrosi pants and OR generally. Attempted to try on in store and could not pull on over my foot - the pants got stuck at my moderately high arches. I have always worn size S and an M would be way too large (size chart measurements appear not to have changed in the years I've been wearing OR). Would love to try again if fit altered to accomodate at the ankle.

I wish these came in petite

I have worn these for both yoga, and spring skiing with long johns underneath. They fit well, but are a little long for me 5'2 and 170 lbs bought size large. I love the pockets and the overall fit. I did not roll down which is nice. I am sure I will get lots of wear from them even if too long. I would consider these for field work/fishing under chest waders.

Didn't work for me

I really wanted to love these leggings, since I live my Ferrosi jacket. The fit is very odd and inconsistent. The waist is stiff and not stretchy or comfortable. The legs are some what loose except for the ankles which are really tight. I sadly sent them back because they were just not comfortable.

Nice leggings

These feel amazing quality-wise. I wish I was in love with them, but the back panelling is great in theory but made the fit weird on me. It looks nice and is great for durability, but the lack of stretch/clinginess make the backside area much less flattering and needs frequent pulling-up.

Great legging for colder temperature!

Great legging! i loved it during fall and spring. The reason its because i found it a bit warm for the summer. So for my early run its perfect but other wise, i put a light legging when its warm.
