I agree that it is on improvement on the Mystery Ranch UA series & I like the materials they use. However, a few things stood out as a bit of disappointment. Mainly the harness straps. They are just too thin & need to be wider. That would improve their comfort immensely. The padding aspect is decent enough. Also, the back panel is durable but really stiff to the point where I can experience the back digging. This also depends on your torso length. Some have noted the overall stiffness of the material & it does hold its shape well, but that's the trade off with this material it seems.
Unbelievably heavy and rigid. I don’t understand why anyone would buy it. It’s heavy, thick and stands away from your back like a cardboard box. So amazingly overbuilt. You better be carrying some serious weight or plan on throwing your bag and laptop out of a plane or something.
Strong, light and comfortable. I use it as a day bag while I am on shift at the firehouse.
I've been looking for an EDC backpack for a while. When i saw this one i was immediately intrigued. Upon receiving it I was impressed. The bag is very well thought out and built tough like anything else you'd expect from yeti. Just took this thing on several flights and it performed exactly the way I'd hoped. The only improvements I could suggest would be the straps and suspension, but maybe I haven't quite dialed them in yet.
Great pack with multiple features. Zippers are stiff and hard to move initially. great size for everyday carry. Top load and split front is a great feature. Not sold on outside pockets - they really don't even fit a 20oz cup or bottle easily. Price point is much higher than competitors with like features. Overall its a great pack, but ill have to reserve a final opinion until I work it for at least 6 months.
Bag is nice and durable and made from quality materials, but the straps are a bit peculiar. They aren't the most comfortable and they make the bag sit pretty high on your back. I also feel like the top quick access pocket has some room for improvement. Right now its just one big pocket, I wish it had some form of organization inside so that it doesn't feel like a junk drawer on top of my bag.
This bag is perfect for use around town, short hikes, and even a weekend getaway where you need just a little bit of packing storage and then use as a daypack at your destination. There are plenty of pockets and the shoulder straps provide a ton of support for a smaller bag,
The bag is nice until you put it on. The same plastic bottom that keeps your bag standing upright is going to dig into your lower back. Crazy how this made it through the design process. I returned mine for this alone. Such a shame.
Uncomfortable! I am a huge fan of Yeti products but I cannot recommend this backpack. It is very uncomfortable. The backpad is too firm and has a hard seam along the bottom and the luggage strap is also very uncomfortable.

The bag is extremely durable. So durable I’m still breaking it in a few weeks later. Once I break it down to my liking I’m sure it will be my favorite bag and will most likely have a big brother soon for longer trips.
