Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE: If your body measurements are midway between two sizes, select the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit. If your body measurements result in different sizes, we recommend using your chest measurement for tops and your hip measurement for pants.

I was recommended to try Icebreaker by friends who climb the 7 summits. They were recommended because they don't bunch up, cling in the wrong places, or ride into the unknown. Their favorite feature collectively was that they can be worn for several days on end without stinking. I take Icebreaker 260s with me hunting in Colorado's snowy mountains every fall. I come home smelling terrible. Absolutely terrible. But the Icebreakers still hold fresh. I wear 200s under jeans and in place of T-shirts in the wintertime, but 260s when I'm going into the mountains or working outside for long periods.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just moved from Cali to Mich and bought a beautiful historic home... But it's drafty in our old home and our bodies aren't acclimated to "the seasons" yet so we wear these under our jeans pretty much all week and even when we go out! They wash in the washer nicely and they air dry quickly. They're wool so they don't get smelly. And even though they're wool, the leggings do not itch at all. They fit well (and true) and stay up without issue. It really does warm us up! We even bought the shirts for ourselves (got mens shirts tho).
Love these leggings for snowboarding and cold weather. They fit great under ski pants, aren’t bulky, and keep me warm but not overheated. I wear a size Medium, 5’3”, 140lb with an athletic build. The length bunches up a tiny bit at the ankle, but not so much that the fabric gets in the way of my snowboarding boots. I don’t have any problems with the fabric itching. They are a bit thin but have held up two seasons without showing wear or holes.
These work great under a pair of hiking pants or non-insulated work pants, as well as a base layer for skiing/snowboarding and while camping in cold temps. As someone who gets cold easily and works outdoors in the winter, they keep me warm down to the 30s. For colder temps, I'd consider a heavier weight. I'm usually a size 0/2 and the XS are perfect - fitted but not too tight, and not so loose that they bunch up as a base layer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these for a backpacking trip with overnight temperatures in the 30s (F). Very comfy and soft. I'm 5'1" 115lb (27" waist 36" hips 25" inseam) and these fit nicely around the waist and thighs with a few inches of extra material at my ankles, which was fine since I got them for warmth and comfort, not style. That said, I would love it if they also offered petite sizes, so I could wear them out if I wanted to.
This was my first experience with Icebreaker base layers, and they did not disappoint. I bought the top and bottoms and am very happy with both. They are comfortable and fit true to size. I wore these many times under a warmer shell and was toasty even on cold weather hikes. I also love that I could wear them multiple times and they didn't have an odor - a big plus!
Comfortable for many uses as mentioned in the title. They do well in the wash on delicate and dryer on low, so you don’t have to baby them either. Really good at holding off smells if you wear them multiple days. If you have kids, I would recommend looking at getting them some too. Parents who have kids with sensory issues say they love these shirts.
Amazing base layer. Worn all winter for snowboarding both in and out of the resort. Keeps your temperature regulated, and the fabric quality allows for multiple wears before needing a wash. Feels slightly itchy at first, but becomes cozy and comfortable super quickly. 10/10 recommend.
Kept me incredibly warm when we got stuck in a little snow… drizzle while backpacking in Yosemite. I was worried they would be itchy but they were very soft and comfortable. I’ve already recommended icebreaker to a few friends as my top choice for base layers.
as someone who is perpetually cold at the slopes, these leggings help keep me warm and dry between runs and the chair lift. icebreaker makes quality products and is my go to for base layers! I pair them with fleece bottoms for a cold-free combo
