Warm but not durable or practical

Disappointed that these lasted just a few days of skiing this season. The lining is soft and comfortable at first, but poorly glued in – the other day, the entire lining turned inside out and detached from the glove on me when I took a glove off, and it took about 15 minutes to stuff it back into the fingers. The fingers showed wear after just a few days, and somehow a finger got a rip on Day 5. Relatively warm, but poorly made and the lining is not durable or practical for skiing.

Broke within 5 mins

The string to tighten the cuff broke the first time I went to tighten it. Understandable that I received a defective pair. Filled out a warranty claim expecting a replacement. Replacement was refused, and I was told to mail the gloves back at my own expense and I would receive a gift card for the value minus sales tax. So I am out 15 dollars because I received a defective pair. Terrible customer service and they do not stand by the quality of their own product.

Bought my second pair!

I burnt a hole in the first pair messing with a camp fire. So that was my fault! Def wanted to stay with these gloves as my replacements. Great value for price - I bought them 20%off retail price. I use them for 2+ hours snow blowing, playing in the snow with the dog, cleaning off the car and shoveling and skiing above 10 degrees F. I love that they can snap together so when I take them off or store them, they are easy to find as a pair- and way less likely to misplace or lose one. Also love the ability to tighten them down at the wrist with the strap so less snow gets in and they don't slide off. Good strong outer fabric that is wear resistant but still allows easy mobility. Good water resistance.

perfect fitting gloves

I have small hands and short fingers. Normally the fingers especially the baby finger is way too long but these gloves fit perfect. So, if you tend to have normal size hands and fingers, then order a size up. I used the tape measure to find the circumference of my hand it worked.

Disappointed, not keeping me warm

Was excited to use these, as we've been dealing with an extremely cold and early winter in Chicago. However, these gloves are not doing at all what they promise to. My fingers are freezing while wearing these gloves, it's as if I have nothing on. The outer layer of leather seems like it would be useful, but I think an inner lining of cotton would've done a better job. These are sadly going to have to be donated, as the North Face return policy is unfairly limited - "items must be unused" - how would I know I want to return these if I havent used them in the cold weather yet? You would think thick gloves like this allow you to be outside for long (even brief!) periods of time with your hands out. However, there has not been a single instance where I have not needed to keep my hands in my pockets with the gloves on because they. are. not. warm. Do not buy! Would return immediately if I could.

Would definitely buy again

These are exactly what I was looking for. Thick and warm enough that I can shovel snow or clear off my car without my hands going numb. Not so thick that they limit the use of my hands. Perfect for the horrible cold snap we're having in my part of the country right now. And the color is great too! So many great choices that it took me a minute to decide which one I liked best.

Purple everything :D

Great color, super warm, but a bit on the snug side. Would like a windshield wiper/scraper on the thumb. Elastic wrist loops will be goners in no time. With all of that said it is very well made, and I see these lasting many seasons

Very comfortable and warm, solid gloves for skiing.

Purchased these gloves for my wife for her first ski trip. My wife found the gloves to be very comfortable and warm. The gloves are very good quality and were comfortable. These gloves will last a very long time.

I probably won't buy again

Good gloves but your finger tips will get clod. Not the warmest gloves, may be try the mittens so you can put hand warms in them. The north face should do something about your finger tips getting cold.

I would not buy if you need fingers to stay warm.

These gloves are made well and certainly has some convenient feature like the clip keeping them together and the wrist straps but it does not keep your fingers warm in freezing temps.
