Good jacket overall but with a somewhat design issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This girl's jacket has a beautiful boysenberry color, the material is warm, and the fit is mostly good. Because this is a ski jacket, NF has a standard snow gusset elastic piece that is meant to keep the snow from blowing upwards into the person when skiing. The elastic on this jacket is either too tight, or it's an indication that I'm too fat to fit it. If the gusset elastic wasn't there, this jacket would have fitted perfectly. I pondered on cutting it off to keep the jacket but decided against it. The gusset also caused a bump, where the fabric gathered on one hip only, not both. I think that's a sewing quality issue. Returned.

Not warm enough

This jacket is not what I expected. Seems like a good option for 30-degree weather & but if you're looking for something for colder temperatures, I would not recommend. It's incredibly thin and lightweight so layering is a must. My daughter is 4'10 & 121 lbs. I bought the XXL so she has enough room to layer up. Sleeves are a bit long but other than that, I wouldn't recommend as a winter coat.

I would buy this again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket kept my daughter warm and dry. She says it's comfortable and it looks nice. I wish the jacket was made like the adult triclimate which allows the raincoat to separate from the insulated jacket. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and would buy it again.

I would buy this product again in a different color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first my daughter wasn't too sure about her coat, but now she loves it. I also love it, I love the way it fits her. She can also put a hoodie underneath, and it wouldn't be tight on her. Thank you Northface for this awesome winter jacket!

I would pass this item

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was under the impression it was warmer and thicker than actual coat when we got it . I feel it was on the thinner side and my 13 old has a hard ti.e returning items or admitting things aren't a good fit . I noticed she wasn't the warmest

She's a fashionista!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My granddaughter loved the jacket! She was very excited when she opened it up on Christmas Eve. She especially loved the color! She has used it on her ski trips, she is so funny because she says she feels like a fashionista!

Granddaughter Winter Coat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is for my granddaughter of seven years. The North Face fits so well and keeps you so warm without the bulging when sitting. I have purchased a new coat for her since she has been born. Great coats for kids.

Great Jacket, wish more color options had been available

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is cute but the print isn't quite my daughter's style. Wish more colors had been available. It fits well, is surprisingly thin yet toasty. Excited to see how well this holds up through the winter!

Great snowboarding jacket!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought for myself as a petite woman lol (5'1" 115lbs) and used it on my first ever snowboarding trip - worked great, kept me warm and dry the whole day! Also super comfortable and easy to style.
