I am always cold so I bought this with some skepticism about its ability to keep me warm during the nasty cold spell we had this January/February. But keep me warm it did, without the excessive bulk of my cheap puffer. I have used this with light layers underneath in temperatures as cold as zero and as warm as forty degrees. It does fit snugly: I am 5'9" and 145 pounds and the medium was snug but okay. Highly recommended.
I bought this a month ago and it’s pretty warm for such a light weight and truly is wind proof. Has kept me warm enough all week in the 30s by itself and very warm when layered. Definitely a tight/athletic fit as it’s meant for running so keep that in mind
My most reliable jacket. The insulation works well even when running in the wind with the temps in the teens, and even lower wind chills.
