After a lot of research, I decided this was the right bag for me, but it took some time to choose between the 40L and 55L versions. The 55L model consists of the main pack plus a 15L daypack that can attach to either the front or back. One important difference is that the 55L main pack does not include the stretch water bottle pockets found on the 40L. If you plan to use the main pack on its own, that means there is no dedicated water bottle storage. For that reason, I chose to purchase the 40L pack and the 15L daypack separately. This setup gives me the flexibility of the larger capacity while retaining the convenient water bottle pockets on the main pack. I had been looking for a clamshell-style travel bag for years. I considered Cotopaxi bags, but they lacked load lifters and felt too bulky on my frame. This pack fits me much better, and the combination of the 40L pack and 15L daypack works extremely well together. Overall, I’m very happy with my choice, I just wish Osprey didn’t make it so complicated
I see what the hype is about this travel backpack.I got the purple version and I love it so much! It is the perfect fit for me. It fits close to my body holds weight comfortably. I’m 5’6” around 160 lbs. I love the details and internal straps to hold things in place. The zippers are smooth. The color is so beautiful. Looking forward to all my trips with this!
This update is fine. I like the laptop compartment and materia better in this version. What I detest is that the women’s black version. She ugly grey buckles and a louder logo but the men’s has black buckles and a subdued logo. Because somehow grey buckles are more feminine?? Just make the bags the same color. The purple is pretty though. Still. I would prefer a non gendered plain black.
Bought this bag as a gift for my daughter traveling to Italy. She was happy as it held a lot of stuff and distributed the weight well with the waist straps It did not fit under the seat of the plane unfortunately. She would recommend this product.
Took this backpack out on a trip for the first time, and I loved it! I am a woman with a short torso who has always struggled to find backpacks that fit comfortably - this one is adjustable and made specifically for women and worked brilliantly for me! Love all the handy pockets and features.
Excellent. Well made and strong. Surprising how much it can hold.
