Finisterre  Eldon Long-Sleeve T-Shirt - Women's

I was glad to see REI offering clothing from Finisterre! I have a few other pieces and really like their use of natural materials and how the garments fit into my lifestyle. It seems like Finisterre tends to run generous in size. I encounter the same issue I have with other British/English clothing I've worn (Barbour, Joules, Boden, Brocklehurst, etc.) in that the sleeves tend to hit my wrist a little higher than I would prefer. I can't tell if this is a style/cultural preference or a difference with American women, because it's just the arm length. This shirt runs a little generous, but not so generous as to size down. The fabric is a nice weight, thirsty and comfortable and the garment itself is of high quality -- not fast fashion at all. I ordered a couple of these shirts (different kinds of stripes ... well, stripes are kind of my thing...). It/they wash well without shrinkage and I've been hanging mine to dry. I am lucky to work in a more relaxed environment so these are also my workwear. I appreciate the extra wide cuff hem, making the cuffs feel substantial and polished. They don't roll up or roll back when you put a sweater on over them.

I have had 2 for years and with careful washing they’ve worn well and still stayed soft and haven't faded or bobbled at all.It washed well with no sign of fading or colour loss after the first wash I did find the body twisted a bit so needed pulling back into shape while damp . The striped navy is a similar fit in a size 10 to the black I purchased in a size 12 The best thing about these T shirts is & how comfortable they are year round

I have two of these long-sleeved T shirts now and I love them both. It's nice as it gets colder to have a long sleeve and this is also lovely and soft. A great base layer for a cold day, wether with a shirt or fleece over the top. But it looks so good on its own too and is washing a treat as well. Stays in shape. And I love the fact the sleeves are a bit looser, not with a cuff.

I am almost always cold so this is something I grab most mornings as my base layer and it is SO soft and cozy. I wear UK8/US4 in most Finisterre clothing, and I got my usual size. It is snug but not tight, but if you want a bit more room I'd size up.

I have kept it & been wearing it a lot as the colours go with so many things but the sleeves have been really annoying me. There is a good turn up at the cuff so I may just unpick the stitching & have raw cuffs.

Soft, comfortable, not too baggy but does not hug the body either. Wash and air dry well (remain soft) - I’m thinking of getting more colours.
